Barrios 'aint Garcia. Guess we'll see if Tank takes the fight @140. If Garcia fails to use his jab as he did against Fortuna, I give Tank a shot. I like Gervonta, but if he fights Garcia @ 140, I see the combination of size, weight, reach and talent (and I'm beginning to believe Ryan really is talented), as a serious disadvantage.

I can see Garcia doing better. Obviously it's going to be chess because they have such a rich amateur history, but they are pro now so it's a bit different.

Toughness, Haney isn't tough. When Linares did that ^ Haney did Huggies for 2 rounds after solid. I've never seen a run-n-hug like that before. When Ryan got dropped and he got dropped dirty, he popped right back up and got a body shot stoppage. Also, I think Goossen is the better trainer and Garcia is actualy improving, Haney is not.
hopefully we see the fight, Garcia looked good last fight but i dont think anything linares did has any bearing on what garcia will do, haney is improving and taking good fights

False. They have even record of 2-2 in amateurs.

          3-3 in the Amateurs.

Same weight class, one's Undisputed and the other is showing to be growing into a quality pro.

Match them up, or so you would think.....

But this is modern day boxing after all.

The amateurs be benefit certain styles more since you have less rounds and the judges funny.

Explosive punchers will always have an advantage in the amateurs
