The difference between Garcia and Tank, Haney, and Teofimo Lopez is that that they have all peaked and he hasn't.

He's already better than them now. But in two years, he's going to run through all of them.

If I was going to fight someone in the pro's I fought in the amateurs and gave them standing 8's; and I've dished out some standing 8's in the amateurs, I would be supremely confident. It's a big deal which is why I posted it. If you don't see the connection, that's on you. But from someone who's done it, it matters especially when people are saying Ryan is ducking Haney.
They were kids. To put much weight on Garcia's alleged dominance over Haney in the amateurs is to suggest that Devin hasn't grown and developed since then. Yes, Bowe tossed the WBC belt in the trash can rather than face mando Lennox, but such is not the case with Haney and Garcia. Is Ryan begging for a shot at Haney? Is he his mandatory challenger? Right now, he's begging for a shot at Tank, a naturally smaller man who is 4.5 inches shorter and has a 2.5 inch reach deficit.

Some of their fights they might have been kids, but not all. You should watch this before thinking about your next steps, listen closely to what they say about fighting each other.

So everyone has to be equal heights now or it's not a fair fight lol?

Floyd was smaller than most of his opponents. Reach, you have to divide the reach by 2. A 2" reach difference is really a 1" reach difference because fighters have 2 arms.

The video shows me these two are buddies, who will fight when the time is right, i.e. when it is a huge PPV event. Haney demonstrated that he actually punches harder than Garcia. Ryan didn't expect that, saying that he warmed up and Devin might need to warm up too

I don't remember a single opponent that Floyd faced who was 4.5 inches taller than he, save for his silly exhibition crap. And the arm reach difference is 2.5" which is 1.25" per arm. add that to the 4.5 inch height difference. Tank is a counter puncher. How can he counter someone that much taller than him if the guy actually uses his jab?

Yea, I can tell you loads of stories. I've seen NATIONAL refs give standing 8 counts to the guys LANDING the punch. It can get wild and mistakes happen. I got one where the dude hit me with the laces of his gloves and the ref called stop. I started walking to the neutral corner knowing he was warning or taking a point from him and I turn and he's giving me an 8 count. But yea, bragging about giving a guy an 8 count in the amateurs when you're a pro is pretty weak.

Are you saying Garcia is a mismatch with a 1.25" reach advantage? As far as Tank finding his mark, thats for himself to figure out. Height doesn't matter if you got the goods, plenty of fighters fought with height deficits. Garcia is the same height as Barrios with 1" less reach. How did Tank do against Barrios again?
