Comments Thread For: Fortuna: I Have To KO Garcia; Even If I Drop Him Several Times, I Won't Win On Scorecards

By Keith Idec - LOS ANGELES - As the proverbial "B" side of this promotion, Javier Fortuna feels he cannot allow his 12-round fight with Ryan Garcia to go the distance. The Dominican southpaw suspects that no matter what transpires against Garcia, he won't be able to beat the popular lightweight contender on the scorecards Saturday night at ******.com Arena.

Fortuna's left will be there for him. He has to time Garcia's left first and don't show his. Garcia for some reason can't avoid left hands effectively, when he gets hit with them there are so flush and he is completely out of position.

It's highly likely that Fortuna will get knocked out himself as he tries to knock Garcia out.

Until a few days ago I was giving him more trust. Then I compared the respective speeds. Fortuna is rather slow.

These 2 are in the same weight class??????? Garcia looks 2 maybe 3 classes heavier.

                Fortuna doesn’t have a chance
First off very small compared to Garcia
Secondly he’s very slow compared to Garcia
Thirdly and not least , he will get rocked going for the ko which he needs to win this fight
                I wouldn’t sleep
on him and hopefully Garcia didn’t but he’s going to have a tough fight ahead

Well it appears this lad understands that so we shall see if he fights to get the ko or not

I understand Fortuna is just consoling himself now for his knockout loss tomorrow night. No way this man can knock Garcia out even if Garcia is mentally deficient.
