I was hoping he would talk about his poor performance

Shame a guy thinks he has to talk nonsense to sell a fight.
It's much better to be yourself (if you are humble) than to talk mess and not back it up.
I also find it cringeworthy when a fighter tries and help a semi conscious opponent up.

Imho, maintain that grudge forever
