That depends on how the individuals mentally deals with it. There is no true answer to that. I don't know how Lennox slept and be so relaxed or was he didn't want to deal with the reality. Only he knows.
What's the best locker room approach for boxers?

I know, it's just nonitos approach, while he's observing his opponents mobility/balance/ footwork. He obviously keeps his eyes on his opponent for a large amount of the time.Comment

- - I'd recommend never asking U for advice.Personally I like Cornelius bundrage philosophy, k9 says he tries to be still all day and not waste any energy
Then there's guys like atlas "mobility negates nervousness" the most standard procedure, look busy, stay loose, jump rope , warm up.
Then there's the amateur style. While both guys are in the same locker room, the coach diliberatly smashes the hand pads to scare the opponent, like when Tyson knocked down a locker when he was in the junior Olympics "when he opened up like a mother effer!''
Then there's guys like rocky marciano-sleep alot and sleep some more, stay relaxed.
What about Hopkins? Allowing HBO to interview him beforehand as he stated he doesn't treat it like a death chamber lol.
And then there's guys like hoya who prepare before the fight by looking above the opponent and turning backward on the turn buckle- seemed to work well for him.
And lastly nonito Donaire says never watch eyes, eyes can lie.,. But that's another topic for another day!Comment

G thanks man, idk if you're joking or being a ahole lol. But I'm assuring that my question was not giving advice but asking for it lol. Different strokes for different folks! What is your expert analysis to do in the locker room lol?Comment

You are making it bigger than it is, when you cherrypick, ofcourse you are going to be less nervous.
Yeah, I don’t think it was exactly the next day he went to jail but I remember his jail sentence got postponed for the fight and he was heading to jail pretty soon after.
Floyd has an incredible mentality in the ring though. I think only a truly elite athlete can put an insane distraction like that aside and perform. You’re probably talking a handful of athlete in world sport, in my opinion.Comment
