If AJ beats Usyk, he has proved himself. Let's see what happens. The same vice versa.

For a guy that gets talked up as some unstoppable ATG master boxer its pretty weird that Fury has now "retired" twice by 33. It sure doesnt come across like he wants to be a fighting champion taking on all comers, for some reason.

Lol utter bollocks. How the **** is beating 39 year old Wlad in Germany by sticking your tongue out and throwing feints (and then "retiring" and ducking the rematch) a better win than beating and at times clearly hurting a significantly bigger 31 year old who literally KO'd and retired that same middle aged Wlad 18 months after Fury beat him? also fighting a Brit in front of 70k people in London is a vastly more intimidating and intense atmosphere for a travelling fighter than fighting Wlad in ****ing Germany.
Being the underdog is easier than being a favorite. The only people putting pressure on Tyson Fury, was himself and his team.

Anthony Joshua was in his 19th professional fight, and was favorite against a Wladimir Kiltschko who had just endured three back to back training camps. Kiltschko was motivated, and had venom within him.

In front of his home crowd, in one of the biggest if not? The biggest UK staged sporting event of that year. Joshua was under insurmountable pressure 'Tyson Fury has never experienced that kind of pressure'.

Fury has always been the underdog in all of his elite level fights, the only fights where has has been favorite. Were his last 3 fights. And he has just retired after beating somebody Joshua ****** out a long time ago.

Both wins are great. But I honestly value Joshua's win over Kiltschko more highly. Due to how he fought Kiltschko, and the damaged he inflicted.

Note: Joshua vs Uysk II, is possibly the first fight that Anthony Joshua will be rated as a underdog. It is vastly different environment to train and compete under. But even still I think Joshua is under more pressure than Tyson Fury, when he was the under dog. Because lets be real? The universal perception of Tyson Fury before he become champion, was that he was a eccentric entertaining character in the sport. Nobody was really priming him for greatness, nobody cared. This was not may perception of him, but it was the universal perception 'With Anthony Joshua it has been a totally different'.

Joshua has been held to a higher standard than Fury throughout his entire career. A higher standard in terms of who he fights, how he fights, and whether he wins or loses etc.
