Marcos Maidana turns down Ortiz rematch!

Maidana has turned down three different offers from GBP in regards to a rematch with Victor Ortiz... Though Maidana won I can't blame him he has nothing to gain and his possible shot at Amir Khan to loose...

He just beat Ortiz, I doubt he wants to risk it all by fighting him again. Ortiz has to work his self up to gain a rematch, especially the way he quit. That was shameful as hell, he definitely needs to work back up the ladder.

So what your saying is Margarito shouldnt allow Cotto a rematch right? I mean Cotto quit without being hit, and least Ortiz went down off of a punch..... Cotto quitting was way worse than Ortiz'...

Theres a big difference between Ortiz and Cotto. Ortiz did not even have a scratch or a ounce of blood lost.

He don't want to go through what he went through in the first fight, not yet anyway. Probably wants to KO Khan and then rematch Victor. Besides, Victor needs to rebuild his image and name before he gets a title shot.
