He wasted his career trying to fight a promotor instead of a boxer and lost several prime years of his career. Idk how you can call him a good business man when he left millions of dollars in fights on the table. He didn't even have any memorable big wins. He is already living in the shadow of his brother RobertComment

Hmm, this may explain quite a bit. I mean considering television and movies have been so lame and unoriginal over the last decade. Honestly I simply don't buy it. If true, do you mind sharing a few projects you've had a hand in that people may have heard of? I have a hunch you won't do so though.
Hahahaha, oh my god, I’m never leaving this site.
Sorry Nash, but he’s gone for the jugular, there.
On a serious note though, jonnyc420, are you really this invested in an answer? It makes absolute no difference either way

“I’m not planning on fighting anymore,” Garcia told Boxing Social. “We’re done. I had a good career, I’m happy with everything. It’s time to move on.''
Boxing should hold retired boxers to their words.
Plenty of people willing to waste money on exhibition matches.Comment

He can say that all he wants, but if he was good enough to write for TV/film, and make massive money from it, he would be. My life is my life, whether people believe it, admire it, or are jealous of it, means nothing to me one way or the other, but it's a fact. Nash out.Comment

My test question for any greatness is very simple: What's his/her career defining fight?
In this case, I remember Mikey the most for running from and faking an injury against Salido, to get out of the fight. I lost all respect after that. The term 'great' should not be thrown around haphazardly. Despite being a fan on his best days, Mikey's pro career is not that memorable.
Forgotten all about in less than a decade.Comment
