My test question for any greatness is very simple: What's his/her career defining fight?

In this case, I remember Mikey the most for running from and faking an injury against Salido, to get out of the fight. I lost all respect after that. The term 'great' should not be thrown around haphazardly. Despite being a fan on his best days, Mikey's pro career is not that memorable.

Forgotten all about in less than a decade.

Good fighter. Could have have been a great fighter. Good businessman, made great money. Got out with his health intact. Good luck to him

I have a half-sister, around 5 years older than me, only seen her about 5 times in my life, but she has her own business and is worth 5 million + as well. I just like the simple things. Boxing, football, drink a couple of times a week and TV, movies, computer games. No real responsibilities. I'm not looking for the meaning of life, I'm just enjoying it whilst I can as you never know what's around the corner. Nash out.

This will only change if Pulev gives Chisora an apology and the freedom of Bulgaria. Nash out.

Hmm, this may explain quite a bit. I mean considering television and movies have been so lame and unoriginal over the last decade. Honestly I simply don't buy it. If true, do you mind sharing a few projects you've had a hand in that people may have heard of? I have a hunch you won't do so though.

You are balls deep in a big box of lemons, I see. Bitter man. If it's so easy, why are you not doing it then? Nash out.

I think that's pretty much the best way of saying it. He was pretty good at 130-135, ok at 140, and mediocre at 147. The only sad part is he will mostly be remembered for his complete shutdown against Spence and his fake injury against Salido.

Yup figured as such avoid the question because you are a liar, more like a basement dweller I'd say. I am balls deep in your head, punishing that lemon sized brain of yours. After all, remember you don't care what I think, yet you can't stop yourself from responding. I am not the one claiming to be something I am clearly not. Mr. Millionaire rattled by a nobody, like I said you are see through bro.

Rattled by you? I couldn't give a toss about you one way or the other. I'm done with you now. You will never have a response from the Great Nash again. Nash out.

Mikey...... so much to cover here. One of the most envied fighters in the game in my opinion. Very humble respectful fighter. Very businesslike. Wasn't ever an animal, all out in your face guy. Did waste a lot of time in his career trying to fight "the man", instead of lining them up and knockin em down, like most fans expect. At his peak, there wasn't a better 1-2 in the game. Rhythmic, knew it was coming often times, but he still made you eat it. Overall fantastic career. Very few fighters are all time greats, so cool, he's not on that list. Who cares? The man accomplished a ton in the sport. And he's well liked and respected. Gets out healthy.

As far as these comments..... no clue why Ricky Burns is even mentioned in the same breathe. No comparison! For those talking about "should've stayed at 135 for Loma", Mikey wasn't a fitness guru. He was done at that weight. He just showed up to whoop dat ass each night, with very little effort as far as the scales. For those talking about the Salido fight, let's not forget he floored the dude like 10 times in that fight. (Salido was no chump either, a win over Loma, many others).

For those that forget, Mikey knocked Dejan unconscious! He knocked out Rocky Martinez, JuanMa, Rojas, J Vic Barrios, Bernabe, Matt Remilliard, and Juan Carl Burgos. He put Easter, Vargas, Lipinets, on their ass! He beat Broner. And challenged Spence in front of 47k fans with both fighters undefeated and going for a 5th division title.

At 40-2 with that kinda record, and REALLY only losing to Spence (Martin loss was passed his days of being relavant), why the hell would a guy like that get so much hate?! Mikey was great for the sport in a way that people don't like. If he was your son tho, you'd be more proud of him than any other fighter in the game.

Enjoy retirement champ. Go drive them cars and push them to the limits and enjoy your life. Great kid, great family, great career.
