Rahman is going to have problems making weight

Short notice (~1 month lol), 31 years-old, 224 last fight, as high as 269 is 2021, 6'3", brutalized in his last fight =---> making the 200 limit is not going to be easy for him. This will be a big advantage for Paul going into the fight. If you look at boxing history, only 3 atg's have moved down in weight and won titles (or something like that).

There is a clip floating around of their sparring session of Paul landing a right hand lead pretty easily, didn't seem like it had much effect but Rahman didn't even flinch trying to evade. If Jake has made the improvements he says he's made, this could be a stoppage win. Perfect match-making for Jake Paul.

I don't think a win for either one of these guys raises their stock much.

It only took 5 fights for Jake Paul to fight a guy with a win in a boxing match. Him having to cut 30 lbs in 30 days is irrelevant.

A lot of people are giving Paul credit for fighting a boxer who many say is much better than Fury (I disagree, I think Fury has more skills).

If Paul can stop a 12-1 HW, I think it looks pretty good for his resume.

        • Wilder fought a 1-2-2 at 6 fights.
        • Crawford fought a 9-10-1 at 6 fights.
        • Spence fought a 4-4-1 at 6 fights.
        • Canelo fought a 2-2 at 6 fights.

Not really, the 2 sentences together seemed far apart in meaning so I wasn't sure where you were going.

I agree about the weight, but Rahman Jr wasn't brutalized in his last fight. If anything it looked like an early stoppage to me.

Rahman, Jr's weight has fluctuated a bit in his career. Seems to be around 230 most of the time but was as low as 211 (2018) and as high as 269 (2021). It depends on where his weight at is now and how he goes about cutting it.
I can't think of too many HWs who had more success after dropping down to CW however.

Tommy Fury does NOT have more skills than Rahman. At all. Come on man.

Absolutely no defense, trying to fight like Tyson but has no defensive brilliance in him at all, just fake-out twitching against guys who don't fight back.

                  Jake sparks this dude.

Paul is one smart kid. He’s not even a champion but he knows the tricks of having an advantage like a veteran. 99% of the boxing fans on here will eat it up like Paul is something special LOL.
