I have to agree with you. Take away all the hype and inflated attendance and PPV numbers, and we’ve seen nothing yet that proves Tank Davis won’t be anything more than James Kirkland 2.0 once he steps up his level of competition. Davis should thank Floyd Mayweather every day for protecting him in how he’s been matched up - it’s weird how Money exhibited so much courage as a fighter but has shown little if any in overseeing Davis’ career. As for Garcia, I actually think he could beat Tank, but people are tired of him doing so much talking and so little fighting.

Super fight? How can it be a super fight when one of the guys has never won a title? He's never even FOUGHT anybody that's won a title. Tank vs any other champ between 130 to 140 is a bigger fight than this

Tank vs García is possibly the 3rd biggest fight that could be made right now (after AJ-Fury and Crawford-Spence???) with so many watered down titles being handled out right now, unification isn’t necessarily “the biggest fight you can make” anymore. In today’s boxing world social media appeal is worth much more than having titles.

I now understand why Gervonta Davis is refusing to vacate his WBA 'regular' title : it helps convince his casual fanbase that he is defending a 'World-title' ; Ryan's fans are pretty naive and will buy it just the same.

The only ''watered-down'' title at lightweight is 'Tanks' : Devin Haney is the lineal undisputed lightweight champion of the world, Ryan Garcia is a BUM and I don't consider any fight he is in as a 'Mega-Fight'.
