But I was talking more about why we need to buy this fight, how he's coming back to reclaim his thrown, etc.
That is just the canned stuff everyone says though "Man I am going to destroy that dude" " I am comming to beat the **** out of you" " Man you are a bum you can not hold my jockstrap".

I have followed Floyd since the Olympics though so he long ago proved I should be watching him fight as a fan of the sport, so all that stuff to sell the fight is just words and it is not like Floyd is the only one that does it.

Really for me that is the whole difference between people that like Floyd and those that hate Floyd, those that like him really do not listen to what he says people that hate him hang on every word (I find this pretty funny actually), there is really very little middle ground on him although there are some that hate him yet respect his in ring abilities.

Yea I guess so, casual fans are the ones that make Floyd a star.

I'd fall into the last part. IMO, hate is too strong of a word, seeing as a I don't know him personally, but he's annonying and says ****** things, regardless of him believing them or not.

Like I've always said though, his talent and skills are undeniable.

People act like Floyd ran over their dog DAMN! JMM wanted the fight Floyd obliged despite what some of you want to believe JMM WANTED this fight just like Floyd WANTED DLH and so he had to go up to 154 to face him (something he was willing to do back when he was at 140), but it wasn't unfair when Floyd is outweighed by a large amount.

It's beyond ridiculous the standard people hold him to. Floyd must fight every possible opponent regardless of their schedule at the time or else its deemed he has ducked them. Floyd has been outweighed in a great deal of his fights but he doesn't complain and he's not the type of fighter that uses a size/weight advantage so the difference in their weights shouldnt really matter because they are of a more similar frame than May is to Margarito but you would NEVER see any of the haters feel in any way bad for Floyd in that match up and would see it as much more fair than this one.

It's much better this fight happening than Floyd vs Quintana or someone...so just chill and watch the fight and enjoy the future fights that will come of it.

you wanna know why??? cause hatton and floyd sr. was talking mad **** and pac and roach murked them. MURKED!!!!

also... pac had fought at 147 lbs before fighting hatton. that made that fight more even, but hatton still had the strength and size advantage. jmm never even fought above 135 lbs.

Marquez-Mayweather is guarenteed going to be more competitive than that.
how? Floyd got every mutha****in advantage!!! how is it supposed to be competitive?
without a shadow of a doubt.
                  hells no.
so why wouldnt these same people that loved Hatton-Pacquiao enjoy this fight?
cause hatton/pac was fought on equal terms. pac didn't stack the deck against hatton like floyd did to jmm.

Ive sparred guys 70lb-90lbs more than me, and I beat them. were they top level fighters? of course not. but neither am I.
you were probably beating on beginners... choose a mutha****er that is as skilled as you that is 2 weight divisions above you and fight... I bet you get your ass whooped.

so that argument holds no weight.
**** that! THERE'S A REASON MUTHA****ERS MADE WEIGHT DIVISIONS!!! they didn't just do it to make more champions or hand out more belts. SIZE MATTERS IN BOXING!!!

yes he did, he only made that 2lb weight agreement the day before the weigh in.
HELL NO! that's why pbf didn't even sign or hand in the paperwork until a few hours before the weigh in. Mayweather Promotions planned that **** from the jump.

although its a maybe if its going to effect him.
it aint... he didn't even try to make 144 lbs.

ok, 2 rounds in the book for Marquez sounds like an advantage to me, in the scoring and how the fight progresses.
***** please... jmm ain't getting those 2 rounds automatically because of the ring rust! like I said... floyd has every mutha****in advantage. even if he's rusty, he still got other things he can use to win. like i said, floyd couldn't lose this fight if he wanted to.

nope. but having to deal with all these legal issues could have gotten in the way of his preparation for the fight.
                  its a possibility.
hells no.... i bet floyd is more worried about Rick Ross than those legal issues. with this one fight, all those issues goes away. Rick Ross probation officer ass is always gonna be there.

I dont care if Floyd loses this fight.
                  yeah right

I want an entertaining, competitive fight...
dunno what so entertaining or competitive about a LW fighting a WW.

which Im sure I will get.
                  prepare to be disappointed.
just because I know the winner doesnt mean I cant enjoy the fight.
ni99a, if you already know who the winner is, then how can that **** be competitive. and if it ain't competitive, how can it be entertaining?

The fight isnt exactly fair, but Marquez can definitely still have his moments.
yeah, jmm is gonna have moments, but it don't mean *****... he's gonna get murked. MURKED!!!

i want to wat the fight...but still floyd still anit make weight....i don't care what you say, point is he already fighting a overblown featherweight so him not making weight and staying near the welterweight limit shows how far he'll go to win a fight.....

i still want to watch the fight casue i think it's an intresting match up.....but don't act like the weight isn't a issue.....if it wasn't then we wouldn't have weight in's..... right?

geez, you take a lot of effort to say nothing new, dont you?

Do you really think that Marquez will be knocked out within two rounds? it doesnt get much more dominant than that. obviously Marquez is going to make a more competitive against Mayweather.

Ive never trained in boxing. never been to a boxing gym. I hit the bag a little, but thats it. you can hardly call me more skilled than the guys I sparred with. if weight difference is such a gargantuam thing, then surely I should have no chance whatsoever against guys 90lbs bigger than me.
weight IS a part of boxing and it counts, but its not the only thing that matters.

yes, you can easily enjoy a fight even if you knew the winner. Ive been in that position a bunch of times. knew Pacquiao was going to beat Hatton and knew Calzaghe was going to beat Roy, but I was very entertained in both those fights. and even you know who the clear winner will be, it can also still be competitive.
if you honestly cant be entertained in those situations, then I feel bad for you as a boxing fan.

if youve got your mind set on not enjoying this fight, by all means, amuse yourself. its still going to be a fun fight to watch, no matter how many times you run around saying ni99a and murked.

as for how competitive it is, well just have to see how it turns out later tonight.
