To be fair it would have to be someone in the top 6. He's fighting some good people - not top level yet but some good boxers even so. I see Joyce as going no higher than no.5.

Wilder, AJ, Fury and Usyk would all beat him. AJ and Usyk in fact have already beaten him and AJ stopped him in one round (albeit as a young guy).

I think Joyce is very good though. He was a good amateur also

With style matchups, I think Fury beats Joyce for sure. Here’s what it comes down to: does anyone think that Joyce can actually be up on points against Fury? Maybe one or two, but not really. Joyce is way slower and not anywhere near as good of a boxer. Is Joyce a one punch knockout guy like Ortiz or Wilder, who could chin Fury and say good night? No, he wears people down with volume, steady power, and physicality that breaks people down. Okay, so to beat Fury, Joyce probably has to wear him down and stop him late. I actually consider this third option to be the least likely of the three. Fury is mentally the toughest heavyweight on the planet, is physically big and strong, and has an excellent gas tank.

Styles are everything. For what it’s worth I think Joyce beats AJ, but AJ vs Fury is a 50/50 fight.

Get Joyce in there with Bakole. Two clubbers going at it. Would be a good fight.

I'm not convinced, at all, that AJ or Deontay beat Joyce. AJ has the skills to beat Joyce, definitely, but because Joyce has such a great chin that one will go into the later rounds & AJ does not have good stamina. He can turn up looking ripped & all that but come round 7 & he is blowing out of his as$. Likewise, if Deontay doesn't ice Joe early he doesn't win, & I don't believe he can ice Joe.

I like Joyce, but Fury would dance rings around him and jab his head off for a fairly comfortable points win, or Fury could jump on him (as he did in the second fight with Wilder) and blast him out.
Now before anyone says Fury isn't a big hitter, he doesn't have to be. Sheer volume of punches could make the ref jump in and bring it to an end.
Joyce's BIG problem is he's a very slow starter with little or no defence, unless he acquires head movement and a higher guard his shortcomings will be ruthlessly exploited when he moves up in class.....The writing is on the wall.
Can I see Joyce fighting for a world title? Absolutely in the current climate. Will he win a world title? I doubt it unless there is radical improvement in his skill set, and time is against him.

I sense there could be a long wait. Joyce needs to also move from Frank Warren.

If Joyce does not get a guaranteed title fight early next year, he has to divert plans and? Aim just to take on big fights.

I think he is best doing that under another promotion. Warren's favorite Heavyweight is clearly Dubois etc.
