He's 36. It's time to stop trotting out shot fighters like Hammer, Stiverne, and Takam. Parker sucks too.

Parker is a Ring top-10 fighter (no.5). The Ring ratings are based on real results (not the results in your head). He would be the perfect next step-up for Joyce. And Joyce wants the big fights - but who is he going to fight? Wilder got too scared to fight anyone - as did Fury (let's be honest, running from Usyk. He is hoping AJ wins so he can come back) and AJ/Usyk are tied up.

For my money Joyce is a top 5-6 fighter. I don't see him beating any of the top 4, but if he's there - he has a chance.

I like Joe but the way way he takes punishment , he needs a fight for the title sooner rather than later.

He's top 10. He's worthy but not yet proven. Very similar to Ortiz a few years back, maybe with slightly better wins.

Next step is obviously facing another top 10 fighter. Parker was too good to be true - I don't think that fight was ever actually happening.

I think Joyce is a problem for anyone not named Fury. Not saying he necessarily beats everyone else but he definitely causes them problems.

I don't care how many fights he has had. He's 36 and people are rating him now, they're not projecting based on his first 14 fights. They're saying he's ready now. He's nothing until he beats somebody good.

This whole thing where people want to hype a guy up but then make excuses for him at the same time doesn't fly with me. I don't care that it's not his fault he can't get anybody good in the ring. It may not be his fault, but it doesn't count for anything in his favor either. He's just another guy with no good wins. I'm not rating him off wins over the guys who used to be Christian Hammer, Carlos Takam, Bermane Stiverne, and Ustinov.

I don't rate Anderson, Hrgovic, DuBois, Sanchez, Zhang, or Bakole either. None of them have accomplished anything.

unfortunately this is true. Logger jams destroy careers. I have no doubt that Joyce is willing, but Christian Hammer as a win will get one very little consideration because it is irrelevant concerning the real heart of the division.

Joyce will up the levels depending on who he is facing.

His performance vs Dubois was not a crude performance. His defense was better than usual, and it was his Jab that won him the fight.

Beating Dubois is a very underrated performance. Not many Heavyweights could withstand the violent attacks from Dubois.

I was impressed how Joyce, did not panic and stuck to a game plan etc.

But as many people have stated, Joyce needs big fights NOW. There is a risk, that by the time he gets his title shot? He will be eroded.

I think Dubois needs better match making under Warren. Looking through his resume, David Haye was finding this man tough opponents.

Joe Joyce has the 4th best resume in the UK, he may even have a better winning resume than Derek Chisora 'Joyce has a top-8 resume in World Heavyweight boxing'.

That will be a good fight, Joyce vs Chisora.

Would Chisora take it?

Who has Dubois beat that tells us the skill and magnitude of this win? How do we gauge such a performance? It really sucks for these guys like Joyce. They come up really late, and if they are a threat, like Joyce, they are sidestepped for easier fights, These guys need to be where they are at 20 not 30...
