Canelo beat Miguel Vazquez twice, Carlos Baldomir, and Lovemore N'dou before he got into the ring with Hatton though.

      A few observations, random.

Ryan is not right about Matt Hatton.

If you are a belt guy (I'm not), at least Hatton was a tough journeyman level guy who at least had one of these dime a dozen belts, something Campbell fought for, but never came close to accomplishing in his pro career. I think Hatton was better. Canelo was also 4 years younger than the current Garcia.

I agree with Ryan overall. Those two guys are at least 8 levels below Davis. Ryan knows Gervonta is the summit at lightweight and wants to challenge himself. He could fight for those garbage trinkets that Haney holds tomorrow, but he knows trying to beat Davis is better than belts, in every way. Don't hate, appreciate.

At least I have some respect for Matt. The British hype of Campbell turned me off against Luke.

      War Boxing!

Garcia is turning 24 in a month.

When canelo was 24 he already fought:

        Lara
        Mayweather
        Trout
        Mosley
        Cintron
        Josito
        Baldomir

AND mathew Hatton (who canelo was 21 when he fought)

Ryan does have more youtube followers so I guess if he isnt winning the resume contest he beats canelo there.

Then at 25 canelo fought cotto for the lineal middle title. Canelo systematically went through and fought all the top names in his divisions. When trout upset cotto, canelo sought him out.

Ryan has systematically ducked every top fighter in his divisions. 130-140 is stacked right now. Ryan has not fought: stevenson, davis, tank, loma, teofimo,

nobody cares that you beat a luke campbell coming off a loss. the divisions are so deep there you have to actively work to avoid everyone else.

At his age canelo already challenged a top 10 ATG for the lineal jr middleweight title. garcia has done *** all.

Let's also not forget that Campbell was coming back from covid in that fight against Garcia. I'm not one to play what-if but I do wonder if Luke would have put him away if his stamina wasnt compromised. After Campbell, there isn't really much on King Ry's resume.

I think it's funny that Canelo and Ryan are ripping each other like this, as they both come off like divas. However, once you get past the words, Ryan has no business criticizing Canelo and level of competition.

Lara was a good pick. A close fight but I thought canelo won it

mayweather he got made to look fkn useless

trout is a good pick, nothing wrong with it. Not some world beater, but was certainly a respected fighter at the time

Mosley was fkn ancient by then. And he gave canelo a solid fight
just a “name” too add. But when you look at when they fought. Nope. Not giving the credit for that

cintron? Fkn lol. Was completely name value at best at the time.

Josesito - out of his weight, undersized and outgunnned. Didn’t like that match up at all. A hand picked to fight

Baldomir- again, ancient, end of career, outsized, a handpicked fight

yes he’s career is leagues above Ryan Garcia (which isn’t saying a lot)

but don’t just drop names like that. ****** without context

              ”aww yeah he fought baldomir”

              Lol no

Poor kid, he's had it rough, and I heard Ryan only made 3 million vs. the 'Game-Boy' Emmanuel Tagoe.

Those are trigger words by the woke community. “My truth” means exactly what?
My truth is that I believe Tom Hanks is the greatest actor ever!
Is that actually true? Many would argue against me.

Ryan is right about Hatton, it was for a vacant. Hatton was a bum that couldn't even beat Ndou lol, got a draw!

Moot point. Cleneloterol also turned pro at 15, Ryan turned pro at 18.

That's just the truth. I just have a lot of good people in my division. I can't pick a matthew hatton and become a champion. I have to fight great fighters. It is what it is. I don't mind that he fought matthew hatton. I'm just saying, you see the level. When i get my first chance, most likely it will be against gervonta davis. Now you tell me what's worth more?

Luke Campbell is levels above Matthew Hatton what the hell are you talking about.

Matthew Hatton lost to domestic level fighters. I don’t even think you Canelo fans know who Matthew Hatton was
