I couldn't believe so many fools on here were picking Pavlikkk by stoppage. If Calzaghe could barley hit a Hopkins with a thyroid infection clean how could this limited Brawler land more than a few shots on Hopkins was my thought. I was expecting a Hopkins UD, not very wide though, since I thought Pavlik would be much more busy.

I never gave Pavlik a chance either. I shouted about Bernard schooling his ass long and loud before the fight even went off. Even joking that I felt sorry for Kelly because the steel mills are shutdown in Youngstown and he'd have no place to work afterwards.

Everybody thought I was crazy. Just like they always seem to when I pick Hopkins in his big fights.

I think upset wise it would be big. Bigger than Pac-DLH but definitely not top 5 biggest upsets ever.

But in the bigger scheme of things if Marquez were to pull it off I think it would remove Floyd entirely from the fighter of the decade discussion and a very justifiable case made that Marquez is the front runner in the fighter of the decade discussion.

They fail to realize that IMO Hopkins has the best defense in the sport. Also, watching Wlad owns and others go from saying how Pavlik would "embarrass, ****, brutalize, and KO Hopkins ending his career" to disowning him completely and saying that he was an embarrassment to his slavic heritage was ****in priceless.
