Not a surprise, he often seemed detached and disinterested from the fight game for someone who was as skilled as he was. Even in the locker room of Bam this past weekend, he looked like he wanted to be somewhere else.

Same vibe I got from him even when he was at his peak.. He was born into boxing, found out he was good at it and continued his families boxing lineage but didn't look like he had deep passion for boxing..

He is very smart and aware. He probably had/has other ambitions besides getting hit in the head but didnt have a choice but to box.

Great career though, one of the best technicians in his prime with KO power.. He should be set for life if he is smart with his earnings which I'm sure he is

He was good during his prime, you can't take those wins away from him though. Later on, I agree with you =---> he used his own hype against the fans at the last leg of his career.

I remember him saying that his first choice of profession would’ve been to be a police officer, not a boxer, But he was just around boxing and fell into it
