His heart and mind hasn't been in the game for a while, and he never seemed very passionate for the sport to begin with.

Mikey still had a very good career regardless. He had the talent, but always seemed like his mind was elsewhere. Towards the end he just wanted the big paydays, but was too inactive.

He looked unstoppable and had a good run until he infamously saw something in Errol Spence. Til this day I can’t understand why he did that.

Hey , nothing wrong if he retires but will he ?
my bad, meant to reply to someone else. I think he will stay retired. He was chasing the Pac fight for the past 3 years and it’s gone now

He has lacked interest for years now. Spence just sealed the deal for him. To go out with an L to Sandor Martin doe? Sad times

He wanted to lose. I bet he wanted a good reason to retire. People do this; they take absurd challenges as an excuse to quit. No other explanation make sense. It was dumb.

I saw an interview of his a while ago, a longggg time ago, I don’t know if it was HBO but he was in his prime, maybe HBO 24/7? Or just an Eli Sechbach interview? Anyway, he said he didn’t really like boxing, he just did it because he was good at it.

After he said that, I was surprised he lasted as long as he did.

What do you all think was his signature win? Lipinets? Broner? JuanMa Lopez? Easter? Zlaticanin? Vargas? Salido? It seems like he has no real standout win.

I remember he wanted Lomachenko and Pacquiao but couldn’t get them. One of those, if he beat them, would have been his signature win imo.

sat out his prime playing touch butt with Ellie seckbach. then came back for a quick cash grab in divisions he had no buisness being in. did he even try winning the Spence fight? seemed like he was celebrating each round that he didn't get knocked out.
                    waste of talent.

Talented but a ****-average career. Forget the belts, it's about top opposition. No top wins, going out on an incredibly poor loss, and then, in his biggest fight vs Spence, where losing is no shame at all, but he lost 12-0 in rounds. Good riddance, Mikey. Enjoy your money, but you will not be missed, and you will not be remembered. Nash out.
