Golovkin's Trainer Dismissive of Immediate Third Fight With Canelo

Johnathon Banks, a former cruiserweight contender and the current head trainer to Golovkin revealed he is not on board with such a fight should it have to be his first of 2020.

“No, they called me about it, and I said no,” Banks told IFL TV when the discussion turned to reviving the trilogy as the first piece of business once boxing returns at full strength. “The plan was for him to get this fight [versus Poland’s Kamil Szeremeta, Golovkin’s mandatory challenger] and get another fight, and then fight Canelo.”

Like I said before, GOLOVKIN ducks Canelo for years while fighting guy's like Sacramento and then have the audacity to complain about getting older

B1tch you were the one who refused to fight. Then you complain about getting older? Which one is it?

And WTF does Canelo owe Golovkin?

G has refused to fight Canelo, Andrade, Lara, Charlo, rematch Jacobs/Derv, etc

Refused to fight anyone above 160 except Rolls Royce who he conveniently fought at 166 after refusing a catchweight against Canelo

I hope Canelo knocks him TF out

Canelo is right about ggg fighting bums while waiting, and canelo was fighting way tougher competition all this while. ggg never bothered to fight the tough fights at his own weight division and had the gall to say that he loves boxing. He has always been a money grubber and a huge hypocrite.

He knew GGG was always there, begging for scraps, but was moving up weights daring to be great instead of knocking over a few cab drivers and going life and death with Derevyachenko.
That’s not being mentioned because canelo wasn’t fighting “the best guys out there”. He left better fights on the table at 160 (including one with ggg) to go to a weaker division and face some domestic level Uk talent opposition and other lesser opposition. Matter of fact Derveyenchenko is arguably better than any opponent Canelo faced at 168.

yep all true but what does it mean for canelo when his “win” in the rematch against ggg is considered to be the biggest win of Canelo’s career? What does that mean for his resume if the biggest win is against a bum beater who isn’t a hall of famer! After all, the actual hall of famers that canelo faced were all 35 and older when he faced them.

So you concede. Okay. Nice. The only thing you've said is that your memory is **** and you're cool with that.

                    Here's what was actually said:

After Canelo acted like a ****ING PUZZY, Golovkin said **** YOU, I can do my own thing too. You want the fight, then you're not going to interrupt MY PLANS that I ALREADY MADE!!

                    And that's how it went.
