His opinion on stuff should be taken with a grain of salt for sure. He has openly admitted to being bias. He use to hate on Floyd for no reason. He is bias as f**k against Spence too. Shawn gets called out by his own boys on his podcast all the time for that kind of shit too.

Berto had more natural talent than Porter but lacked the same fire that Porter had. The intangibles make a big difference as seen when Porter beat Berto from pillar to post. Based on that along I would rate Porter a fair bit higher than Berto.

I like the dude's personality, but I really didn't like watching his fights. I was bored to death of the hit, clinch, smother, wrestle style he employed. It was just sloppy. But it worked for him and he did get far in the sport at a professional level, so you have to at least give him his respect in that sense.

All top WW are fruads then. He gave Spence, Thurman and Crawford a run for their money. But I must admit Porter did have an ugly style and he smothered all his work.

Crawford was carrying him, was going to let him finish his career on a high note. Then, Shakar stuck his nose in his corner and informed them the judges were actually scoring the fight. 20-30 secs later Porter was stopped.
