You are not really Joshua's supporter then are you. You are done already mate.

Usyk is a unprecedented talent. The heavyweight division is open class, Super Heavyweights have not always dominated.

In fact, they have only dominated a short period in the Heavyweight divisions history etc.

But nevertheless, I think Joshua will win this rematch.

You saw when canelo went up to 175 and fought bivol he looked like he didn't belong. That's the difference 7lbs make. And Canelo was P4P #1.

Boxing shouldn't be about middleweight going up and beating up on guys 50lbs bigger than them, not unless the big guy is a bum. You didn't see Chambers, Povetkin, Haye giving the klitschkos any issues did you, the klits knew how to deal with small men. They made them feel small in there.

AJ has been smashed all over the ring and quit against an obese middle and schooled by a roid middle.

Joshua needs to treat this guy like a little man, he does that or he becomes the new David Price. Thankfully if AJ ****s again Fury will probably lay Usyk flat and restore order.

Fury is retired, and I don't think this latest lay off has done him any good.

You are apprehensive of Joshua, you know he is threat.

Ruiz Junior & Uysk are dangerous fighters who not many heavyweights would beat.

But? I agree, Joshua for a super heavyweight does not know how to fight like one very well.

Stylistically, fighting Usyk should be a straight forward fight. Kiltschko, Lewis, Fury would all know exactly what to do against Usyk.

I would not say they would all win, but at-least there would be no confusion with tactics.

Before I read this thread I was naive. I thought the reason why a fighter could not do somethng had to do with his opposition. According to many Joshua fans though? Joshua just has to impose himself on Usyk this time... simple right? Its not like Usyk has any say in that...

                  It's a combination of both.

Usyk is a great fighter but Joshua has looked seriously unsure (that's a polite way of putting it) for like 2 or 3 years prior to the Usyk fight.

He's not confident, he wasn't confident in the first fight, and in my opinion he's mentally ****, so as much as I give Usyk credit for a good win over a good heavyweight, I can't give any more than that, I think an in shape Andy Ruiz stops Joshua again, I think Parker likely stops him now, hrgovic, Joyce would have a good chance, Fury and Wilder definatley stop him, Martin bakole and Daniel Dubois have some chance against him, hunter too, the other super series cruiserweights.

Dont get me wrong Joshua still beats "most" heavyweights, but would you CONFIDENTLY pick him over any of the names I just mentioned?

This is why people are saying it's Joshua who needs to change to give himself a chance of winning. Because he's very clearly in some crisis of confidence and styles, he didn't walk into that first Usyk fight with the confidence and swagger of an established, dominant champ. Usyk DID, I think that was close to his best, so he may tweak a few little things but he doesn't have as much room for improvement because he was excellent in there.

We all know the old saw about the two animals that cross the river: One is the trusting party who agrees to transport the other one who is the evil one... so maybe we have the turtle, who helps the scorpion, taking him across the river and the scorpion bites the turtle because??? the Scorpion is the Scorpion and has Scorpion nature... and nothing, not even the kindness of the turtle can change the essential nature of the scorpion.

Joshua has been blessed by certain athletic qualities. Joshua is a great example of the difference between athletes and fighters. A difference that is not absolute, but, something one can see if they look carefully.

I don't see how Joshua changes... Usyk might have been affected by the war, it might give Joshua a means... Or maybe Joshua finds lightening in a bottle... But I would never assume Joshua can change the fundamental way he fights, which is scared...
