Would have been a good fight 3/4 years ago. Ortiz too old, been too inactive over the years, looked terrible vs 3rd tier heavyweight charles martin, ruiz would have beaten martin with ease imo. Expect Ruiz to look good here if hes taken it seriously.

But Ruiz also looked terrible against 3rd tier hw arreola. And speaking of inactivity, this only Ruiz’s 2nd fight since sh***ing the bed in the Aj rematch in 2019.

Ortiz vs Martin was PPV why are posters acting surprised ? This is a better fight why would PBC show it for free , why would they show anything for free at this point they aren’t a sports App that many like to complain about on here ?

It’s a fun fight with 2 fatties going at it, but not PPV worthy. Why everything is PPV these days is beyond me. Gonna do like 200,000 buys, maybe.

PPV? Thank you Mr. Haymon! So in touch with the common fight fan. Everybody was asking for this, if you are not calling this out, don't want to hear s**t about Canelo/GGG from you.

I don't think this is Haymon doing this but rather FOX doing it. If Haymon was behind this then we would have all PPV fights on Showtime as well. Since March we have had fight after fight on Showtime with only Tank on PPV. Maybe FOX is trying to recoup as much as possible before they bow out. Hopefully they do and CBS, who owns Showtime, should naturally get back involved in boxing. I remember back in the day with Saturday / Sunday afternoon fights with Gil Clancy. CBS can do the small and mid level daytime fights and Showtime can do the really good level and PPV fights. CANT WAIT!

Anywho, FOX seems to love its PPV cards, glad there is a free FOX tie in. I don’t have to worry about cash flow but the FOX deal certainly seem to start better than it’s ended up. Oh well, hopefully Haymon makes a good deal with CBS or it’s paramount parent company afterwords
