Slow punchy Senior Citizen v Pillsbury doughboy…marquee ppv Hw main event matchup. Lol! Typical Pbc/Haymon…middle-class Americans struggling with price of groceries/gas/inflation and Haymon puts this at best Showtime caliber fight on ppv. Nice.

Prime vs Prime, Ortiz wins this easily. However, at 43 and coming off a shaky performance against Martin, I’m picking Ruiz.

His legs looked so bad. Ortiz got hurt a few times pretty bad and even at the time of the stoppage, he never had his legs under him. Yeah, Ruiz should win this one if he is in solid shape.

Ortiz is long past his expiration date, but if Andy isn’t in condition it can be a good competitive fight for a few rounds. Andy by mid round stoppage.

Yeah I think he’s shot now. Ortiz was a really good HW in his prime, as much as people make jokes about his age, resume etc, nobody wanted that smoke back when he destroyed Bryant Jennings.

These two Heavy weights are a good free Fight (I'll read about it after). Such BS from Haymon and the PBC!
Last promoter to criticise dayzin was Arum of Top Rank. missed that did you?

Anywho, FOX seems to love its PPV cards, glad there is a free FOX tie in. I don’t have to worry about cash flow but the FOX deal certainly seem to start better than it’s ended up. Oh well, hopefully Haymon makes a good deal with CBS or it’s paramount parent company afterwords

I think the Andy that faced Joshua in their first fight beats any version of Ortiz. Taking that fight on short notice, after having only been out of training for a short period of time, was a stroke of luck. Andy is his own worst enemy, great fundamentals and maybe the best chin in boxing but his work ethic absolutely blows.

no so sure your right about that one. The Ortiz that beat Bryant J would give Ruiz hell and would not of been hit with those wild looping shots from the bottom like Joshua did. Plus I don't think Ruiz would of got up from that shot if Prime Ortiz was the one delivering it instead of Joshua.

but all this shoulda woulda coulda will never amount to anything. now we shall see Grampa Ortiz VS Taco Ruiz.

I'm picking Andy by KO over that old MF'er! Ortiz has been getting bussed in his last several fights and his age won't help here. Ruiz just the more fluid fighter with more left so all bets are on Ruiz!
