I was rooting for the upset but Catterall didn't win that fight.

Classic case of the opponent taking over for 3-4 rounds and people begin spouting "better not rob him!" when the fight isn't even half over. Taylor won more rounds, won the fight.

Taylor knows very well that he lost to Catterall, he just isn't man enough to admit it.

Won't change a thing. You lost that fight and got benefit of doubt. I use to have Taylor on pound for pound but I'm realizing none of the guys at 140 are as good as we thought. I don't think he's staying to shut anyone up. I think he realized that he wouldn't beat anyone of note at 147.

He needs to leave the joke coach too, he looks a shell of the fighter he was under McGuigan.
I agree but disagree. He'd definitely give himself the benefit if the doubt for anything close so I believe guys when they say they think they won. It wasn't a robbery per se. Jack didn't win 10 rds but he clearly won. Taylor and all Fighter's should jump at rematch if there is doubt. They need to have confidence so Idc if they thought they won but the fact they talk about, they know it's debatable so do it again.

If he believes he won then that's his opinion. I'm a big Taylor fan. I'm also a fan of Catteral. I personally scored it a draw. Lots of fighters get wins they probably don't deserve, and maintain they won the fight. This is no different. The criticism is way over the top. And it's been pushed to personal levels, which is disgraceful. He didn't score the fight. That was the judges. So why is he getting so much abuse? Because he believes he won the fight? That's boxing. It happens. We all wish it didn't, but it does. The main thing is he is acknowledging the need to do it again. So let's hope it happens.

What fight were you watching man? Have you watched it back? With the knock down Taylor would have had to win 7 rounds minimum to get the draw or win, there’s no way in hell he won 7 rounds. Catterall won that fight clearly.

If Taylor defeats Catterall in the rematch it will be the first time he's defeated the man.
