All these promoters suck with their petty beef due to fragile egos. The sport is about the fighters, not these washed up and/or out of shape businessmen. And I'm speaking of all promoters, not any one in particular. They should be looking for constructive ways to make these big fights instead of creating obstacles. The fighters themselves need to be more forthright too and stop settling for second best. The Yarde fight is second rate and should only be a backup option to the fight that actually matters.

Bob sent Ramirez over to unify vs Hooker, but that was when DAZN were paying big for fights like that. Neither Hearn or Arum seem to want the fight. As with some of the other big potential fights this probably doesn't happen unless one of them has a contract expiring soon, like how Haney had to leave Hearn to get Kambosos.

I came to this thread for the comments. I knew Bob's comments would draw certain NSB members like flies to dung. Those members didn't disappoint.

DAZN, as an OTT content provider, certainly doesn't have the capability to reach the masses as cable television but I'm not sure what kind of ratings a Russian/Chechen matchup will do stateside. Not sure how many casuals outside of Canada and Russia will be tuning in. We will have to see how Beterbiev/Smith Jr performed in ratings with a native New Yorker fighting in NY.

Bob prefers the Yarde fight. It's within his scope of control, draws UK fans and money and is easy work. Bob may say things that have truth to them but never let that fool you why he's really saying it.

Lol, atleast other promotions have on various occasions come together to make great fights (not cherrypicks gone wrong), unifications etc. Only unification I think PBC has let happen was Canelo vs ***ing Caleb Plant .

Arum seems to atleast be happy to let this fight on ESPN, how many times has PBC turned down a fight on their turf to avoid their hypejobs getting exposed? lol.

I’m confident this fight will happen because it’s not PBC involved.

beterbiev has 3 belts just like spence. crawford has made the move to fight spence so bivol can do the same. crawford has more accolades than bivol. bivol is moving like jermall charlo ducking fights. the fight should be on espn. end of story.

The fight would make most sense on ESPN in fairness. It’ll come down to whoever pays more though.

Is anyone surprised by scumbag Bob? He kept Floyd vs Pacquiao from happening for years.
