Does Bud Crawford REALLY want to fight Spence?

Well they probably lack 100% confidence in winning the fight. At least his team and not so much Crawford. His team fears if they take the less split and Crawford loses, that's it. He can't even demand his checks he got prior to Spence. They rather he continue to face mediocre comp with the same "Okay" pay checks than risk losing to Spence and losing even those "Okay" pay checks.

These guys need to look at the bigger picture and the future. Even if Crawford were to lose, if the fight is exciting or close, of course that is rematch worthy and another massive check. Though these guys think just in the moment often including the team. I really think it is moreso Crawford's team than Crawford himself. He believes in himself but with all the people speaking around him, I highly doubt he gets much say around them.

But the thing here if that is the case, which sounds quite probable, Bud shouldn't just sit by idely, he is the fighter not his team.
But what you broke down can be the case. Because Bud is such a quiet guss anyways, seems like he generally just stays quiet.
