Boxers are like singers - sometimes a terrible singer will come out, but the public decides they like their voice and the singer becomes a star. Meanwhile someone might come out who is technically a great singer, but people just don't think their voice is interesting and they end up waiting tables.

You have to have starpower to cross over. Neither of these guys have it.

Make 45 old Floyd rematching 44 old Pacquiao and it will be "the biggest fight" in the last 5 years, I guarantee you.

I do understand that Bud has a pretty dry demeanor which doesn't attract attention, but shouldn't a master promoter like Arum have strategies for fighters like that- Sensational in the ring but lacking in personality and self-promotion skills?
Interesting point you make with Crawford. Not sure what the real story is there with Crawford and this isn't the first time I've thought about this. I don't know why Arum couldn't get him fights and it wasn't due to still waters, there was plenty of fish to fry. Either way it was either Bob & Trampler didn't think Crawford could win the fights or Bud was complacent.

Bob only signed Artur recently. I think the Hot Rod fight was his first with Top Rank.

Oh, my bad! Too bad he didn't sign him sooner.

He was with chit head Yvon Michel before that
Gym to be precise and he did fugh all for Artur
Not sure why they didn’t take advantage of the fact that Grand Prix is in Montreal and the fight would of sold itself

Honestly, it has about the same level of promotion and hype as Beterviev v Gvozdyk.

Which is a shame, because Gvozdyk sent Adonis Stevenson into retirement and almost sent him to the morgue. His fight vs Beterbiev should have been huge, yet somehow, I hardly heard anything about it.
