    What a difference an "L" makes. Saul Alvarez didn't have much debate about the top spot in the BoxingScene pound-for-pound rankings when 2021 came to a close. His second trip to light heavyweight changed that in a big way. A loss to Dmitri Bivol knocked Alvarez out of the top spot but who replaces him?

    I don't agree with this list. Especially with the honorable mentions. It's a bit of a joke to be honest. Seems more like a fanboy list. The Ring Rankings is much better.
