Ya know... I am not as against this as most. Both Whyte and Dubois really have zero momentum to a real fight at this moment. Whyte looks like he may be in position to fill in the Chisora role: Big name Gate Keeper that fights everyone. Dubois wants to pretend he has accomplished something because he has the Wrangler Belt size XXL he bought from the discount store around his waist he colored in some capital letters with a Sharpie. They will sell some tickets on the Isle due to name recognition. One of them gets a name on their resume to have listed in articles as a recent win.
Wait... I got this. We can line up a 4 man tournament of the "Fringe names that need checks" HW crowd. Dubois and Whyte in the headliner, Luis Ortiz against Robert Helenius on the undercard.
Winners fight each other in 6 months in the headliner, and losers fight on the undercard. I would actually be amused. That would be a good night of beer and pizza with your friends, and all 4 men get paydays.
Winner gets Dubois Wrangler Championship Belt to parade around. Not like any of these four have real plans.
