Nobody at 140 talks about anybody at 140 in the first place. Not even Josh Taylor. Nobody even talks about that guy either.

Doesn’t Taylor have all the titles? Why would anyone call out anyone other than Taylor? The guy with all 5 major belts of the division.

yeah I thought Prograis would've been a bigger star by now even in losing to Josh Taylor

goes to show that again if you're not signed with the right people you can find yourself on the outside looking, this sport is 99.9% Politics so if you're not with one of the Major Power Brokers with the proper connections in the sports to jump you up on Sanctioning Body Rankings and get you Mandatory's and Eliminators, you will find it almost impossible to land the big fights you need to advance your career

It's a fkd up sport, what can fans do? WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, ABC, where is Prograis' ranking in any one of those useless alphabets? Why does he have to be called out? Why not enforce mandatory positions?

prograis is ranked #3, 5, 5 and 6. there's nothing to enforce. he should have fought ponce, matias, barrosso or puello instead of irrelevant fights. boxers seem to think somebody owes them something. if you are not a star, earn a mandatory position and wait your turn. everybody could see that wbo (before taylor-catterall fight) and wba last mandatory fights were back in 2018 and that those two would be called first and second. whoever wanted to jump the queue should have fought their #1 ranked contenders.

I like Prograis. I think what he's saying started after people saw him struggle with Gervonta's former regular punching bag/sparring partner, Ivan Redkach. I wanted to see Davis-Prograis for a long time. After seeing that Redkach fight, I somehow lost interest and forgot all about Prograis (unintentionally of course).

Dibella put all he had into getting Prograis the undisputed shot and Regis came up short. Prograis seemed to think he would just be handed big fight after big fight.

Nah, it’s back to square one of you never built up any drawing power.

Prograis has chased the short money promoting himself, doing fights on Triller and Probellum instead of taking difficult fights for small money and getting back into a mandatory position.

This is the correct answer; but just like Mikey and Broner, some guys can't handle the first loss.
