this is a WW fight. FLoyd came in at 146 b/c he wasnt going to drain himself. hes two lbs over. there was a clause in the in the contact and he exercised it. which was his right.

It ain't no weltewrweight fight. It's at 146 and welterweight is 147. However, the winner can claim to be linear welterweight champion! They should never have bothgered with the catch weight malarky in first place. What's the point of dropping it by 1lb!

i'm pretty good at reading people and i can clearly notice how uncomfortable he was through the interview. he was trying to portray that everything was fine, that he wasn't even thinking about hitting 146, like he wasn't going to be asked about it because it was a non issue .. then when the reporter asked the question he smiles nervously and answers "how do you even know what the weight of the fight was?" ...

come on now, he thinks we're idiots. it was part of the plan all along.. they never mentioned it through the training camp or interviews. however, the weight they agreed on was 144 ....... mayweather and his team did agree to pay a penalty IN case they'd go over the limit. they probably made it seem like it was something you had to inclucde in the contract just to make sure they followed the protocol while in the back of their minds they knew what they were doing. shady move and mayweather is a biotch.

I was at the weigh in and there was alot of floyd fans there. it was about 50/50. Just because marquez fans were singing ole ole ole and quelero doesn't mean there was more of them.
