Q: So why were we given the impression that its a catchweight at 144?

A: So people will not think of it as a huge mismatch and buy to watch it.

All along, as confirmed by Floyd, it was a fight with the WW limit of 147. That was why they tried to keep the limit a secret but floats it around at 144. This is pure deception on the GBP's side.

My friend bet for Marquez considering the catchweight, now he feels he was fooled and plans to withdraw his bet. How many feels the same way?

Floyd knew from the beginning that this was a huge fight and disrespected the sport of boxing by not making 144. I hope that arrogant prick loses tommorow and doesn't get a rematch...he can go fucc himself

First of all this fight should have never been made, it was a mismatch from the beginning. Yes marquez wanted the fight, thats because he's a warrior and he is coming towards the end of his career so he is looking for any big fight possible. BUT mayweather was not forced to take the fight, no one was gonna **** on him for not fighting marquez.

Secondly I think ppl are 'disgusted' with mayweathers actions because the fight already being a mismatch, mayweather decided to not come in at 144 pounds to make it a little fair for marquez. Mayweather is faster, bigger, longer reach, has been fighting comfortably in that weight, and now instead of giving marquez some cushin, he totally stacked himself with every possible advantage over a lightweight that had to come up 2 divisions.

Why even post his interviews anymore?

When he isn't outright lying, he's distorting the truth and he expects the interviewer to just accept the lie as is and not challenge him on it. WTF...

Floyd shouldve respected JMM enough to come in at 144.

By your logic Mayweather should be given an advantage over every single fighter he fights only because you think that "he'll win regardless".
Take that bs out of here man.
this ****ing sport is about winning...wht is that bs you spat up there

It's hard to pull out from bets especially if its not your friend or someone you know well...I thought of betting for Marquez but the catchweight of 144 was too much. I'm betting for Cotto to beat Pacquiao though. I know Cotto will came in at the required weigh in because he actually respects the game not like the lame puzzy Mayweather....what a disgrace.

No offense, but when you have to resort to talking about a man's looks, that seems less than manly on your part.
