Their promoters were never gonna let them fight this early for no money with nothing at stake. Haney knows this and is talking out of his ass.

He knew that it was risky fight in which he could have very well lost and could have put the Teofimo Lopez undisputed lightweight bout in jeopardy which was why Loma avoided Haney in the first place.

No Loma knew what he was up against by facing Haney. He knew full well in advance that Devin was no tomato can and wouldn’t have been an easy cake walk in the park for him.

Possible Tank could touch Shakur up, Idk Shakur is tall. I'd like to see him take on Gary Antuanne Russell or maybe Josh Taylor. If Garcia slept him? ill be eating a lot crow and questioning if I know anything about boxing, it wont be the first time lolComment

Exactly at least some here see through what actually happened. Both teams wanted to let that fight marinate as a future fight. Sulaiman said it himself, that BOTH sidss requested it to not be called official the mandatory as it's a bigger money fight in future. Yet people act like it was just Garcias side. If Haneys side were not ok with it, the mandatory would have officially been called and given a negotiation period and if no agreement purse bids. The mandatory was never demanded and fight never went into any negotiations as neither team wanted that fight to happen so early in their careers. We all know in boxing they love trying to marinate fights and have them years laterComment
