I’ll happily watch it but certainly won’t be paying a single penny to do so. It’ll obviously be PPV.

Being realistic though, although there’s probably more interesting fights for both because they already fought , you can’t really be too disappointed that two top 10/15 fighters will fight. The belts are all tied up anyway and neither are getting a title shot soon again. So I’d rather see them fight each other than be in keep busy fights against no hopers. Their first fight was good actually

I would have definitely preferred Joyce v Parker.
but this is still a decent fight, it just should be nowhere near PPV

Dubois vs Whyte is a better more exciting match up.

It is also actually a bigger fight.

Listen Whyte was questioning Dubois after his lost to Joyce.

Dubois has just won the WBA regular Heavyweight title, and now he wants to confront Whyte.

A WBA regular Heavyweight title, should not be turned down. If Whyte could win that fight, he would once again be back in a title pursuit etc.

Whyte is one of the highest paid fighters in the UK with many consecutive PPV fights.

Frank Warren would have to put up a lot of money to get Whyte to take that fight. It’s a risky fight too. Dubois stepped up once and quit.

They can call names out like Whyte but I’m 99.99% certain they are going to milk that WBA title for awhile against fighters like Lucas Browne instead of putting Dubois in any risky fight. They saw what happened in the Joyce fight.

They’re calling out names for hype, nothing else. I guarantee you in 12 months time all you will hear is of lowball offers to guys that they don’t really want to fight and people complaining about him defending this “world title” against bums.

Their plan is to milk this title until they can cash him out for millions when the big opportunity comes.

Seems like Joyce isn’t getting any big fights soon.

Punishment from Warren for beating up Dubois. Warren doesn’t seem to wanna put money behind him to get meaningful fights.

He made Dubois quit on his knee and they’ve still continued to push Dubois instead. If I was Joyce, I’d be trying to get out of that contract with Warren.

I feel like both have lost some relevance since they first meeting. Parker has never quite "flipped the switch" that everyone was waiting on. Whyte was sparked out in brutal fashion 2 of his last 3.

I don't mind the rematch but I think most would prefer to see them fight some of the other aspiring contenders.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's as big as previously. But clearly still highly watchable. Their in that, entering Chisora territory area, if they don't win. So it should be an entertaining fight.
