Depending on how the pool of heavyweights are. If the pool gets strong, then he'll be one of those guys that you HAVE to beat if you want to be a world champion

Hes only 24 though, so if the pool get weaker in the next 5 or so years, then I could see him snagging some version of the title. Fighters have won titles with less abilities (Bermane Stiverne)

If I had to predict, I would say that he'll snag some version one day. You never know though

He did get stopped by Joyce because of his eye injury - but at no point did he look hurt or close to being stopped, was quite a shock stoppage. His chin is pretty decent despite the stoppage imo.

Obviously he's limited, a little bit niave, lacking confidence and can be outboxed - but his power is legit and he's still learning. How bad is his eye? Not sure, he hasn't faced anyone who can hit it yet.

But there are certain types of boxers he would have trouble with, e.g. Joyce (obviously) because he has a skull that's tougher than granite, or the likes of Usyk or Fury who would box circles around him.

Anyway, I think he can be a champion. Wilder did it for a while with less skill imo. Just needs to be matched carefully as well.

Wilder/Dubious would be great 50/50 fight actually. Whoever lands first.

He’s not going to be the main champion as long as Joshua and Usyk are around . He could potentially topple Joyce in a rematch that’s still a near 50/50 fight at this point . Hrgovic is also a guy he won’t defeat he’s way to ponderous at close range fir a guy like that . The division is stacked right now he’s easily a top 5 guy though at this point arguably one could see him winning outside the guys mentioned. I don’t expect Fury or Wilder to stick around either by the time he gets a title shot.

There’s also potential run ins with Adeleye, Mahkmudov , Ajagba , and Joyce again so there’s no shortage of other power punchers over 6”5 . If I had to guess he gets a title one day he’s only 24 but others are also coming in soon, Conto, Anderson and Sirenko will have something to say about who the future champion will be .

Big disservice to Wilder imo. I think he’d sleep Dubois pretty easily. He’s rapid with the right hand and Dubois’ upper body is incredibly stiff - he’d get his head knocked right off if Wilder is even half of what he was pre-Fury.

Dubois deserves credit for taking on Joyce.

I think he should stay away from Joyce for now. If Joyce gets a world title, only then should Dubois fight him.

Dubois is strong, quite durable. His speed is not the best, but he is fast enough 'Especially for this era of heavyweights'.

I see Dubois getting involved in many big fights, Chisora, Parker, Fury many more. He is Frank Warrens favorite fighter.

He can be a world champ when Usyk retires and vacates the titles.

The time is on his side. Unlike some Hrgovic alike guys that are around 30 and fought nobody, he at least fought Joyce and got some experience.

He fought Joyce because Joyce ran off his agreed to fight Hrgovic mandated fight for the IBF . Neither guys wanted any part of Hrgovic who dropped DDD hard in sparring supposedly .

Hmm maybe, his power is legit. So is DD's imo.

But when was the last time we saw Wilder win a round without a knockdown? 2016?

Wilder has the faster hands, but DD out jabs him, so could easily land first.

It's a shootout imo. Nothing would surprise me.

I think he has good potential. I get impression with him he has to fight someone very good to lose. At no point did I feel he'd lose his last fight.
