Absolutely shameful that they’ve got the gall to say he’s a champ
lol, that’s quality

I just watched the fight… No wonder they were late getting a scale to the weigh in. That venue was so ******. It looks like an old condemned sports venue that has been closed for 27 years. There were flooding issues & leaks in the roof I guess from the recent tropical storm. The place was half empty. Anyone hear what the paid attendance was? That looks like the size of a crowd we get at my city’s local events. 1000 people? What a mickey mouse promotion. 3.1 million purse bid? Guaranteed King gets most of Bryan’s purse & King must have options on Dubois. Big time losses I would expect on this event. Bryan didn’t even bother to train. What was Larry Holmes doing to help him in his camp? Bryan’s a good listener he said. Hahaha! Yeah listening to Holmes tell boxing stories over a few dozen pints & all you can eat ribs at Outback Jack’s Eatery. Did that venue even have running water in the washrooms? Maybe A couple of porta potties by the empty bleachers near the main entrance? I would have just pissed on floor… Long live Don King!!!!!Last edited by joe strong; 06-12-2022, 10:00 AM.

I watched the fight on YouTube this morning - how is Bryan going to fight in an event where his promoter put up 3million dollars and where the winner will walk into a mega payday, and have the audacity to not train??? In terms of fitness he looked like George Foreman at age 60 in there. He looked might lighter against Stiverne and was still out of shape then. Just an absolute disgrace.
The event looked like Don King called his friends and family up and told them to come out to the event dressed like they were at a world title fight in 1980. The crowd didn't even look real - it looked like costume party. I bet paid attendance was well below 1,000.Dakuwaqa

I never watch the whole PPV. So I can’t comment on the other fights but it looked like one of the least professional productions I have ever seen. Reminds me of an event in my city that got a promoter’s licence suspended. Years ago a local HW tried to promote his own fights. The first one he had secured Monte Barrett as his opponent which shocked local boxing fans so tickets were selling quick. Barrett would have killed him as he did to Tye Fields. Hinton actually ducked Fields here when offered a fight. Barrett ended up pulling out of the fight to go fight Odlanier Solis on a showtime event. So his next event he tried to put on he had secured Zack Page as his opponent in the main event. The undercard was 2 local CWs fighting for the WBC Continental Americas CW Title. The winner would have got a top 15 WBC ranking. Their was a WBC official. It was held in this small banquet hall that barely had room for much of a crowd. The main event got cancelled because Hinton didn’t bother to give the local boxing commission Page’s medical documents & the co-main event was a terrible fight & one guy beat up the other & the judges called it a draw. I bet the WBC would never sanction a WBC Regional belt to be defended by either of these guys. It was that bad. They probably only agreed to sanction the fight because the main promoter in town had the a multi-time WBC woman’s champion. This event was a complete failure. He lost his promotes licence soon after. This Dubois/Bryan event looks very similar & unprofessional…

Told you guys that Bryan was a bum. Dubois needs to be in better fights. He fought Joyce then went backwards.... Dubois is a beast but he isn't learning the skills he needs in these kinds of fights
