Oscar admiittng he was picking low risk high reward opponents for canelo lol.

The truth is I always knew Bivol was good.

The real question should be this. How did everyone in the media, and all boxers and trainers get it so so wrong? Are they dumber casuals than most fans? They all said Bivol would get his ass beat. They have some serious reckoning to do.

    I can name.

    Andre Ward.

    Andre Rozier.

Did anyone else give Bivol a chance???

Can Benavidez, Charlo and Andrade even win 1 round vs Bivol?
You do know that Benavidez and Bivol have sparred hundreds of rounds right? And that everyone who was there says Benavidez was on a whole other level.

His critics get on him for not looking perfect in every fight but he isn’t scared of anyone. He’s fought a bunch of unknown fighters with different styles. He doesn’t pick fighters based on styles. He picks fights based on what his critics think of them.

Mayweather, Lara, GGG, Jacobs, Bivol…all great fighters, all difficult styles to look great against. His fans don’t care if he loses, fights to a draw, fights a close fight. Doesn’t matter. His fans are his fans because he is a good fighter and isn’t afraid to fight other good fighters or fighters who are considered better than him.
If you didn't keep mentioning mayweather you would have a point. I'd be fine if you said Lara, GGG, Jacobs, Bivol, but you don't get credit for losing 12-0 to Floyd, sorry. You make it sound like canelo was the only person daring enough to face Floyd when every man in boxing would kill to get that fight.

          Are you being sarcastic?

Or are you saying that Bivol is not a real challenge?

          Which is it?

This is what upsets me about the state boxing is in, Canelo moved up in weight to fight an undefeated champion, yet Oscar is saying that he shouldn't have fought him because nobody knew him? Boxing is a popularity contest, boxers who draw money are the ones getting the fights and this just stamps that.
