I just don’t have confidence in Hearn’s ability to get the big fights done anymore. He reminds me of my Oilers old GM. Pissed off almost every other GM in the NHL so he struggled to get meaningful trades that could help the team because nobody wanted to deal with him.
Hearn made a deal last year that Fury and AJ both accepted. Fury's rematch clause with Wilder was the only thing that prevented them fighting each other back then.

If AJ beats Usyk the undisputed fight will happen, for sure. Fury and AJ have been itching to fight each other for years. Fury has never been keen on fighting Usyk though.

We heard the same thing about the Ukraine football team and they still got dumped out of the world Cup qualifiers by Wales.

Usyk if you know his history isn't particularly having any reason to personally invest in the Ukraine conflict, this will be a fight like any other, Usyk will likely be too good regardless but its not going to be "bcos the war"

It's a fight between two millionaires for more money, held in a country with atrocious human rights record that both fighters don't care about, because really they only care about themselves.

Stop making it out to be more than it is, it's so cringe.

This is not a computer game guys, it is reality.

I have no idea why people are complaining over rematches, or rematch clauses.

The battle between Usyk & Joshua is not over. So why are people acting like it is?

Why are people acting as if, Joshua was beat down and knocked out? None of this happened.

It was a 12 round fight, and Joshua was competitive in 95% of the rounds. Even while fighting the wrong kind of fight.

Now we are getting the rematch.

If A.J defeated anyone not named Usyk for the belts again the trolls would have a field day on here complaining he ducked even though it was Usyk who postponed the fight .

Usyk vs A.J is possibly the second best fight that can happen why would a true fan not want to see it . It’s not like a gigantic gap in abilities unlike Wilder and Fury which was as predictable as can be . Wilder literally maybe won 4 legit rounds in 3 fights getting beat down twice badly in the process this isn’t remotely that . And I’ll remind the forum Usyk is far BETTER fighter then Wilder I’m not sure it still gets that as though it takes away from A.J .

When this is the image you leave fans with at the end of 12 rounds it's hard to argue it wasn't conclusive

I just don’t want to see a close boring fight that somehow goes AJ’s way this time. AJ was on the ropes in the 12th last fight. I’d hate to see him just do a little a better than last time and have it scored for him. If he were to win I’d need him to be at his all time best. Survive adversity and win with a definitive KO or TKO. That’s how people get interested in a Fury fight again. He will need to power through some shots, look like an AJ we have never seen. I don’t expect to see a newer better version of AJ who is willing to take take it straight a top guy.
It’d be interesting to know how many of the people who thought AJ would beat Wilder have changed their minds? Also of those people how many were sure he was going to beat Usyk?

You are apprehensive of what Joshua can do over the long game. That is why you don't want to see this rematch.

As I have stated just before, this is not a computer game. This is reality, people around the world are engaging in battles every single day.

These could be personal battles, battles with other people, battles against vices. Sometimes people lose, sometimes they get knocked down.

But sometimes those same people get back up after being knocked down, sometimes those same people comeback to fight those battles again.

Anthony Joshua is one of those people, it is no different 'As Rocky Balboa once stated, boxing can be metaphor for life'.

He's coming back, and he wants pay back. This is what competition is all about.
