As I have stated just before, this is not a computer game. This is reality, people around the world are engaging in battles every single day.

These could be personal battles, battles with other people, battles against vices. Sometimes people lose, sometimes they get knocked down.

But sometimes those same people get back up after being knocked down, sometimes those same people comeback to fight those battles again.

Anthony Joshua is one of those people, it is no different 'As Rocky Balboa once stated, boxing can be metaphor for life'.

He's coming back, and he wants pay back. This is what competition is all about.

Goddddd man… if you’re going to be this much of a ***** to another man, at least be a ***** to a legit winner. Joshua got punked by Ruiz in his American debut, ran back and fought the rematch in the Middle East, like a coward, because he was too scared to redeem his loss where it happened, AND then got whooped by a cruiserweight posing as a heavyweight.

I love the fact that you openly flaunt you’re willingness to be a ***** to some other dude, but come one! Joshua is just your average British fighter: someone with a weaker than average chin, and the kind of mentality that cracks under pressure!

I dont think that's true. No one really knows what's going on in Ukraine because we cant trust the media. All we can do is hope that as much of the tragedies being reported are fake. Luckily, based on how the media has been in recent decades, there is reason for hope that most of it is. And in any case, Usyk winning a boxing match has nothing to do with what is going on in Ukraine. If we believe the media about the war, then no one there will have TVs or newspapers to even know the result in the first place, and Usyk wouldn't be able to fly back into Ukraine during the war. Russia would take out their communication.

I thought it was some other dude? Co-promotes him… Well I guess I’ll see myself to the cliff after my last post…

I see Usyk stopping Joshua. A lot of people are saying that Joshua needs to impose his size and aggressiveness in the rematch but once he does that….Usyk will pick him apart and get the TKO win. Joshua will get up from the knockdowns but the ref will wave it off

I hope so. I said right from the get go the Wilder rematch clause would be a problem. Wilder has pretty rock solid representation so I had no doubt Wilder was getting his 3rd fight. He exercised the clause a week after the 2nd fight. Hearn has been stumbling getting big fights sealed for a few of his fighters the last year. I don’t have faith in him. I hope I’m wrong & someone else pointed out Usyk is co-promoted by Hearn so if that is the case I will see myself to the cliff following my last post you responded to..,

such a joke staging another fight in the middle east, makes the whole event sterile and meaningless. zero energy and zero excitement. There are no boxing fans out there and they just sit on their hands the whole fight and its silent.. boring af. greedy bastards

I have no idea why people are complaining over rematches, or rematch clauses.

The battle between Usyk & Joshua is not over. So why are people acting like it is?

Why are people acting as if, Joshua was beat down and knocked out? None of this happened.

It was a 12 round fight, and Joshua was competitive in 95% of the rounds. Even while fighting the wrong kind of fight.

Now we are getting the rematch.

Well you’re right there, it’s not a computer game.
In a computer game you progress by correcting your mistakes and approaching things differently.
Not by fighting the “wrong fight” round after round without making any adjustments.

Don't like that this is being held in Saudi Arabia. No worse than Ali and Foreman fighting for ***face Mobuto Sese Seko in Zaire, but no better either. At least Ali had the excuse of being robbed of his prime, not boxing from 25 to 29. So maybe it is worse. Bunch of mercenaries. Should have the fight in an open air ring; now that would be entertaining.

Be interesting to see what changes Garcia and Fernandez bring about in Joshua's approach though. Have to assume they are aware change is needed. At least Garcia acknowledges that with his balanced view of "He lost. He didn’t take a beating. He lost a decision. But he lost. Clearly lost."

Only wish they'd put the fight in Vegas or MSG, or England again.
