A billion for what exactly? He dont even have Canelo anymore, and how much is 4-8 more Canelo fights worth before he retires if he did have him $100-$200 million? Still far off from 1 billion, all he has is Ryan who hasnt done much and prospects who may ir may not be anything

back when Golden boy sued Haymon it came out in discovery that Golden Boy lost money on virtually every fighter other than Canelo. I dont see how you can get to a billion valuation. They do own the LA building their headquarters is in, but other than that what assets are there? What is the real value of their broadcast contracts? And what value could their fight library have?

Tough to see how you could get anywhere near a billion.........

What would happen if Matchroom or Top Rank absorbed Golden Boy? I think that would help boxing, to be honest. I suppose PBC could absorb it too but I can't see that happening due to how PBC is structured, especially after losing Fox and relying so heavily on Showtime.

I suppose it wouldn't change much if Matchroom absorbed the company but if Top Rank were to, then it would be a massive power play and change boxing for the better.

Good point. He has struggled, and I believe part of that is because Arum and Ellerbe constantly attack him, giving him negative publicity. They are doing everything they can to prevent him from entering the US/Mexican market. I think that's the big cause for that.
