The reason there is so much interest in the brand Golden Boy is because of its figurehead and the attention he attracts to press events.

Golden Boy without the actual Golden Boy himself doesn't hold this much value. Oscar should talk to an advisor before he spurts things out like this without thought. Some of the things he says are detrimental to his company.

back when Golden boy sued Haymon it came out in discovery that Golden Boy lost money on virtually every fighter other than Canelo. I dont see how you can get to a billion valuation. They do own the LA building their headquarters is in, but other than that what assets are there? What is the real value of their broadcast contracts? And what value could their fight library have?

Tough to see how you could get anywhere near a billion.........
