I said in an earlier thread I thought Da Monster would win this with a much more dominating performance.

No.... No I dis not see THAT coming. Wow. I take only moderate credit for a correct pick. This was amazing.

Sometimes I don't get the calls for fighters to move up in weight. As if they are too good at their current weight, we want to see them where they are not as good.

What other sport do we want the best do relatively handicap themselves to see how good they are?
Yeah Steph Curry is too good, he should only shoot left handed.
Aaron Donald is too good, he needs to wear ankle weights.

Why can't guys just fight at where they are the most dominant? As long as they make weight, then the equality variable has been accounted for.

I’m saddened for Donaire. Win or lose, the man is an ATG. I hope he can fight one more time and then ride off into the sunset

Truer words have never been spoken.
The worst thing is when casual and toxic boxing fans ridicule fighters for not moving up in weight to “challenge” themselves.

Haters call for prominent fighters they don't like to move up in weight, to fight the best in heavier divisions under the guise of "challenging themselves" and "daring to be great". They really just want to see them lose, so they can call them exposed hype jobs. Meanwhile, if their favorite fighter moves up and beats weak title holders that hardly anyone has seen or heard of, They're lauded as heroes who "dared to be great".

              Nope , really didn’t
I thought Donaire would hang in there longer
I predicted a late stoppage obviously believing Nonito had way more left in the tank
This without taking anything away from The Monster

Agreed he stopped it way too early at least let Nonito take another shot to see if his head had cleared instead of getting froggy and jumping in too quick. This was for all intents and purposes the undisputed bantam title fight let it continue ffs

Nah, watch the video again. Nonito was taking tremendous shots and was not doing well at all. He'd have gotten seriously hurt if he took any more punishment.

That’s how you dispatch someone you’re supposed to beat when you’re in the same weight class and are the same size.

Inoue has been campaigning at 118 for 8 or 9 fights now, that was Donaire’s 20th fight or so at 118.

Devin Haney, this is how you take care of other 135lb’ers, your first weight class. Watch Inoue’s career at 118, his 3rd weight class. Watch Mayweather’s career at 130, his first weight class.

This is how your boring ass should have taken care of, at the very least, Gamboa and Linares. At least.

”The Dream” is exactly right. Putting fans to sleep every single fight.

Cong**** to Inoue. He can now move forward and fight fighters of around his age.

                      What a dumb comment.

Haney & Inoue are two totally different types of fighters.

It'd be like getting mad at Pernell Whittaker for not decapitating foes like Tyson did.

Inoue's arguably the best puncher P4P in the entire sport, while Haney's a master boxer.
