Now lets occupy ourselves by criticizing the "boring" Haney for pitching a shutout!! GTFO!!! Bunch of clueless armchair critics who were hoping Haney would lose. Hopefully you did not bet the house on your delusional "emperor". Kambosos went from a likeable person , pre Teo to a downright D1CKHEAD, post TEO !!!
I was hoping Haney would win, but aim objective enough to also say he is a boring fighter who did nothing to really increase his marketability even in becoming an undisputed champ. I have no interest in seeing Haney in any fight where he’s the clear A-side, that’s for sure. Mayweather became a true star when he fought Gatti and showed the killer instinct to take out a clearly outclassed guy in spectacular fashion. Haney could have done that against Kambosos and really made a statement, but chose not to do it.

To each is own. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Ali, Sweet Pea, Floyd Mayweather, Andre Ward, etc etc left their indelible mark in the SWEET SCIENCE with their faculties intact and a lot of $$$$$ in the bank with their "boring" style.
Once again to each his own. Haney will do just fine whether YOU watch him or not.

Oh... and Bivol just took Canelo to school with his "boring" style. I guess it is safe to say you will not be watching him in the future as well!!

Haney is no Floyd, Sweet Pea, SOG or Ali…. He is a very gifted boxer but can’t fight inside, has no KO power and gets booed in his hometown for putting fans to sleep. I suspect once he loses his size advantage and moves up in weight, he will run into problems as his jab and hold style will be limited.

Nah this was for undisputed and haney was content with just jabbbing and doing the bare minimum to get the win. No right hands, no combinations, no urge to put on a showcase and dominate.

Haney will never be mistaken for any of those mentioned..by any stretch. My point still stands that THEY are all TECHNICIANS and thus by some "boring". How Haney fares in the future is irrelevant to me. He is a safety first fighter who plys his trade behind the jab. It is in his DNA. He has been successful with it thus far. Take it or leave it. He took the loud mouth Kambosos to school. Reduced him to being a timid , fraudulent clown. It was good enough to ensure his place in the history books!!!

Ali demonstrably didn't leave the sport with his faculties intact. Sad to say, I've seen interviews with Pernell & he was also in a pretty bad way before he died. The way you perfect a great boxing style is sparring, so a lot of these guys don't seem to take a lot of punishment because the fans don't see it in the ring, but they take punishment in the gym where no-one but their team see it. Floyd & Andre maybe smarter in not letting themselves get beat up in the gym either, but I don't know how they will sound in 10 years time.

Loma is 34 and he has some miles on him. If he takes another L then yes he will become irrelevant. He's not the most exciting fighter plus the Comey fight showed that he is definitely slowing down. That's why he's waiting for a title opportunity and won't fight unless it's for the belts.
