Hearn is doing well considering he's not American and DAZN isn't an American product.
PBC on the other hand is run by Americans and it's constantly failing with their PPV buys. Plant did give them good numbers on the free tv ratings.

I WAS subbed to Dazn, for like 2 years. I subbed in May to watch a canelo fight, it was a good deal at the time, 80 bucks I think, I get what would be a PPV fight plus a whole year of other stuff plus their archives of old fights in HD to stream whenever I want.
Well then they kept raising the rates. And then they wanted higher rates PLUS canelo fights are all PPV now.... *** that I cancelled my sub and streamed the fight. I would support them if they were reasonable.
I actually told people they were goign to lose money a few years ago. Them offering 100 million to Wilder, them paying GGG who has no real fans a sky high gaurantee each fight even if he fights bums and lithuanian potato farmers. People told me I didnt understand the app pricing model. Well look where we are now ******s. I told people it was obvious they were blowing through investor start up money/loans without really having any solid way to predict future revenue and just hoping it would all work out if they signed as many fighters as possible. It just spoiled a lot of fighters and made them expect to be overpaid relative to the revenue they generate.Last edited by elfag; 06-03-2022, 09:56 AM.Tithefox likes this.
