Whether he wants to or not Benavidez should go to the Morrell and Charlo fight and climb in the ring just to call em out. Public embarrassment may accomplish something. Out of those 2 I think Morrell would actually fight Benavidez but I'm not sure how his handlers would feel about it. He is on a good path for a real title without risking it against Benavidez. Plant shouldve fought Benavidez already but I doubt we see that fight. Charlo runs his mouth constantly and Benavidez gets hated on for saying he is willing to fight him.

And you would sort of be correct. Except Benavides path is much easier as he has the same promoter as one of the fighters. And the same promotion platform as all of them. Also Crawford and Spence are both busy. Ortiz's trainer saying he would not fight Boots for 4 years. There is no excuse not to fight Morrell. Custio Clayton was amateur standout with a WBA belt, David Morrell Jr. was an amateur standout he has a WBA belt. How about Benavides fights him instead of washed 160 lbers. Or fight Plant if she's ready to return. Hell even Charlo would be nice, if he is done fighting the Montiels of the world. Benavides is a bad man, I wish he had better competition

I don't think Caleb Plant wants that smoke with David Benavidez.

I know for sure Jermall Charlo doesn't want it.

So David Morrell it is. And that would be a fun fight.

Most fans are haters but I'd say there are two people besides Nelo that is willing to fight the best between 160-168. Benavidez and Andrade are the only two who tries to fight others. BJS, Munguia, GGG, Charlo are all unwilling to take a risk in case they get the Nelo Ticket. These two have called out and tried to fight all of the guys beneath Nelo, not including no name fighters. I don't get it.

Munguia and Charlo won't fight anyone besides GGG but GGG won't Fight anyone either.

Andrade won't fight him and I wouldn't watch if he did.

Being in 168 must feel like being om death row. These guys know when they're across the ring staring at Benavidez b4 the 1st bell rings, it's their execution. So instead of saying, "f.ck it, let's get it on", they keep delaying and stalling and filing appeals. I truly believe David Morrell wants action, but the rest are running scared, especially Canelo

What about Benavidez vs Jacobs? Not a fight anyone has talked about. Better than fighting a 6-0 nobody Morrell, and Caleb Plant is on the record he wants a tune up fight next.

Benavidez. All the fanboys, talking-up a moderately talented wannabe, as if he is exemplary.

Unfortunately and he is my boy and all but at this point I think that Jacobs career is over. He is a gatekeeper status now. He won't make it out of the first round against David Benavidez.

Well at least to me; He looks like a shot and washed up fighter. However, i am pretty sure that those two wouldn't hesitate for one second to fight each other if they were both fighting on the PBC.

Jacobs would be a feather not only in Benavidez' cap but in his resume as well. Moreover, as far as Jacobs is concerned; He has nothing to lose. He knows that his career is over anyhow..

So what better way for him to cash out other against a fighter like David Benavidez? It will be just another pay day in order for him to make some more money.
