Arum hates the fight so it ain't happening.

I’d pick Beterbiev by KO too. Just think he’s so difficult to keep off, Bivol probably wins the majority of the early rounds but at some point Beterbiev gets to him and takes over.

        I'd have money on Beterbiev.

The problem here is Hearn was in love with Canelo because Canelo smashed up his severely overrated Brits. So Hearn thought Canelo was God. Fact is Rocky Fielding, BJ Saunders, Callum Smith, Amir Khan etc , were all SEVERELY overrated. The fight for Bivol was a walk in the park. Bivol barely broke a sweat. Now? Hearn is WAY over rating Bivol. The fact of the matter is , Canelo isn't a very good fighter. He's easily beatable if you put him up against any upper echelon , skilled fighter. In saying that, I always believed Bivol would beat Beterbiev. Hearn believes it now because of the Canelo fight. Bivol was more skilled than Beterbiev before Canelo. Most boxing fans just never paid attention to Bivol. Now they are. Bivol a huge favourite ?? No .this fight is an " even money " fight if it should happen. It will all depend how Beterbiev handles Smith. If Beterbiev wins more convincingly that when Bivol fought Smith, then Beterbiev will be a slight favourite. Don't count out Smith either. Beterbiev can be hurt and knocked down as we've seen. That could be the "fight of the year " . If Bivol looked more impressive against Smith than Beterbiev, Bivol will be the slight favourite. There will be no " heavy " favourite in the Bivol vs Beterbiev matchup.

I'll happily role with Bivol on points, wide quite frankly. Whilst Beterbiev has power he's pretty rudimentary, Gvozdyk and Browne were both out boxing him comfortably until they weren't.
And we've seen Bivol can take solid punches from the likes of Smith Jr even ones he wasn't expecting to take/bracing for (the one on/after the bell at the end of the tenth).

I put my money on Bivol, but he is not a big favorite.

Absolutely. If he's stating something as a fact that the many of us would dispute, he has some other reason for saying it that way.

I could call it just by guessing and have a 50/50 chance of being right, but technically it's a tough call. I did see Browne have success early on while keeping his distance, before Beterbiev wore him down. Hopefully, we'll see this before it's not the same fight anymore.

Eddie Hearn has a history of being wrong. It's like he has the reverse Midas touch lately.

                  Bet on Beterbiev guys.

Your totally wrong. If the fight does take place, Bivol will keep his distance early. Sticking the jab out, being relatively cautious but not throwing away rounds. The fight will be fairly even in the early going. But eventually Beterbiev will become frustrated from not landing anything clean and he'll open himself up. Bivol will dominate the 2nd half of the fight. He'll win a wide decision or even stop Beterbiev late.

Nah, Bivol’s defence isn’t that good, there’s no way Beterbiev struggles to land shots in that matchup.
