There is literally no fight you could make at 118 that would be bigger or better.
I second that, but I'll take out the clown insult.

i know this forum loves him and wont have a bad word said about their favourite 'monster' but all i will say is that the division he fights in sucks and because of his nationality he doesnt get held to the same standards as other fighters.

We've been through this before, too. How many fighters besides Inoue have a resume like this after 22 fights:
#10 Ryoichi Taguchi August 2013 (future WBA/IBF/Ring light flyweight champion)
#1 Adrian Hernandez April 2014 (reigning WBC light flyweight champion)
#1 Omar Narvaez December 2014 (reigning WBO super flyweight champion)
#8 Kohei Kono December 2016 (2X WBA super flyweight champion)
#5 Jamie McDonnell (former IBF bantamweight champion)
#5 Juan Carlos Payano (former WBA bantamweight champion)
#6 Emmanuel Rodriguez (reigning IBF bantamweight champion)
#4 Nonito Donaire (unification, reigning WBA bantamweight champion)
        #8 Jason Moloney

Go ahead, show me 5 active fighters who had a better resume than that after 22 fights. Inoue fought a couple bums with Top Rank but his overall resume is still incredible.

        I'll wait.

Heck yeah it was bro, I honestly hope for a trilogy. So kind of pulling for Donaire in this one. That guy is a legend. It's kind of funny I wasn't his biggest supporter years ago. If I am being 100% can probably call me a former "hater" but as years went by I have grown to being a big fan and gained massive respect for the man. A good man and a great fighter who seeks nothing but challenges. Not many fighters like him left in the sport. Gotta appreciate them while we have them.

Some people don't know their history, I applaud this post and thank you for setting this straight. The magnitude of this fight, if you know your history is massive. Plus the first fight between these two is better than Canelo/GGG 1&2.

Donaire with try to stay close to Monster and shorten up his already devastating left hook. Monster needs to practice hook/uppercut combinations from hell and avoid jabbing with his chin slightly up. Don't let Donaire be 1st with anything. Keep him reacting to u

how the hell is that an incredible list lol. the division sucks so them numbers and being former champ doesnt mean much, jamie mcdonnell and jason maloney for crying out loud.... if donaire at 40 is the 2nd best in that division after getting dominated in some of the other ones a few pounds up then that doesnt say much about the standard of that division. 40 is ancient for a bantamweight, not like the heavyweights where they usually peak a bit later. fact is noone gave donaire a chance in the build up to the first one, said he was too old, way past prime, bookies had it completely one sided then turned out inoue struggled more than expected so you all had to change the narrative regarding age and act like hes suddenly some different fighter because he decided to lose a few pounds and get back to bantam. he looked the bigger man when frampton dominated him and he lost to 5ft 4 magdeleno, the way you people make it sound is as if he was fighting people a foot taller than him, its hilarious.

I think the affinity on this forum is more for donaire than it is for Inoue. IMO he’s the only active fighter who hs truly chased greatness in his career.
As far as your comparison to canelo, it’s because of the level of competition/name recognition available for them to fight. There isn’t a single fight people care to see Inoue in more than donaire. For Canelo, there are groups of fans who want to see him face anyone from Andrade to charlo to Benavidez to beterbiev instead of ggg.

Don’t you ever get tired of playing the constant victim?
