You know you look off the back of there’s a lot of fighters Chris that have come off performances you know in the pandemic, through the pandemic, they looked a little bit flat. You look at Dmitry Bivol you know against Craig Richards and before that against Castillo, those performances didn’t tell you that, that form would beat Canelo Alvarez

No Other Fighter Takes Risks Like I Do

Fighting a washed up 40 year-old GGG is a risk no other fighter wants to take? Lots of people are looking for this risk, LOTS LMAO.

    • show someone who doesnt watch boxing and doesnt know either guy the highlights of the last fight and then ask them if they think the guy plodding around the ring hitting elbows and fresh air all night is the best fighter in the world

      • By risks maybe he means using his driver instead of his wedge

          • He clearly has not seen Nash's latest top 10. Keep up Canelo. Viva La Mexico. Nash out.

I like Canelo as a fighter and I praise him for his resume but sorry, beating GGG does nothing for him.

GGG is an old man now and clearly past prime. If this fight took place at 168 but vs a younger GGG, it would’ve been fine because Canelo himself is a former 154lb-160lb fighter. It’s really the age that kills this fight, not the weight class.

It is what it is, it’s an event, a more popular, more established opponent than almost anyone else he could fight. It’s business, I get it. But while I am against Canelo fighting Benavidez, I admit that even the green, untested Benavidez would be a better match than GGG for Canelo. But GGG > Benavidez or any other 168 fighter in terms of accomplishments, resume, name value, and popularity. And unfortunately Canelo vs GGG will be one of the biggest fights in 2022 in terms of revenue and viewers.

I think that GGG is so past prime and so old that the green Benavidez could probably beat him right now.
Shut the fook up. Inoue beat 40 year old Donaire and became p4p #1. 40 year old GGG is better win than anyone else on p4p list. If Canelo was American, he would still be #1 by far.

Right now: 1- Inoue 2- Usyk 3- Canelo.

GGG win should make Nelo at least top 2.

When Canelo fought Bivol he was clearly too small and looked like someone who should be at 160 to 168 max it's not even debatable..Bivol would make Canelo look small at 168 as well.. Hell Benavidez would make Canelo look small, Benevidez probably walks around closer to 200 pounds but where is he fighting at?

Canelo not keeping up with his body is on him and like i said as he ages when he does try to go back to 168 the wear and tear will only become more and more obvious because that too much weight for his little frame, contrary to belief Canelo is not a big man, he lets himself get fat. the guy could barely move or get out of the way at 175
You guys need to stop looking at a fighters height and determining his “size.” Canelo can’t make 160 anymore, and he’s rarely if ever been the smaller fighter. He’s shorter, but he’s thick and stocky. Similar body type to Mike Tyson, who’s the same height as Golovkin. Nobody says he should have been a middleweight.

                • Good on Canelo for still thinking he's the best. Hell he should feel like he's the goat. Thats the type of mentality I want my favorite fighters to have. He's gotta figure out what went wrong that night and just learn from it. Thats what the best do.

                  • It took you many fights and wins to become the best. So 1 loss wont make you not the best.

                    • So, "the best guy in the world" moves up one division to face non super star champion and he gets schooled completely?
