When did GGG challenged Kovalev? Exactly. Before people give their opinion, think of the whole package, don't be just a casual fan.
what on earth are you talking about lol

mayweather had his First pro fight at 131lbs so asking mayweather to fight a gennady golovkin shows what a noggin you are.

canelo has been protected and boxed a lot of fighters who posed no risk to him.....let him fight a mover and a sound technical boxer and he loses every time and he will also get beat by David benividaz.

Canelo will not get paid the big bucks if he refuses to fight the best at 168.....golovkin will be his last bi
g money fight where the odds are in his favour.

    That will now change

    • I will be honest. Canelo was flat footed even at 154 -160. he didn`t like the taste of close fights there so he moved up with the idea that it will be easier for him fighting heavier guys that should be also slower ones.

Callum Smith was big stiff id.iot who was there to be hit the whole night. Saunders and Plant were actually pretty fast, but they did not have enough power.

Canelo`s foot work ****** even in these fights.

      • respect for moving up to fight bivol

but to honest canelo hasn't been dominating even in his own wgt class
        ggg1, lara, mayweather... now this

if anything, his record proves he's one of the best, but not the best

Basically said to his face fck off and go beat somebody, Andrades resume is uneventful, the only way to get big fights is to stand out somewhere other than the back of the room.

andrade outboxes him....he went down the whole 'you dont deserve a fight with me' route when andrade put it on him whilst he signed up to fight likes of rocky fielding, yildirim etc

            • If you take the risk, you have to win, then claim you are the best.

That was in my opinion Alvarez's first big risk. Or risk really he did not have to take.

Sergey Kovalev was not optimally prepared and forced into the fight too quick. After his long hard fight with Yarde.

That fight was more of a risk for Kovalev etc.

              • Melo still No1. He could stay at 168 and win and be No1. He can even avoid the best in division like Floyd did routinely at 147.
Nelo didn't need to move up so shouldn't be penalised.

Your **** on. And you just exposed another boxing fan( can we call them that ?) We'll see what happens. And yes GGG is his last big money fight. It was a part of a 150 million package. The fight was forced upon him. In other words it was DAZN saying to him, " to make the 150 million, Bivol and Triple G you must fight " . He took it. But do you think if DAZN didn't offer, he'd be calling out Triple G for a triology ? No, he had 4 yrs to call out Triple G for a rematch, he didn't even mention his name. Anyhow, it's happening at 168, a weight GGG has NEVER fought at. And at GGG'at ripe old age of 40. It's not what I classify a " big fight " . I agree with you calling it a " big money " fight. The Charlo, Benevidaz and Andrade fights are the real deal fights for him at 168. And big money. His days of being a huge favourite and making huge money fighting guys like Amir Khan and Rocky Fielding are over.

                    • Looks like he still needs a good beating from the Mexican Monster, to teach him some humility. I'm sure David won't mind.
