that comment was directed at the DOZENS of crybaby losers who insisted that Bivol was a cherry-pick, many of whom posted in this thread

" ... waaaaah... Bivol is a bum... Bivol has no chance... Canelo selected Bivol because he is ducking Beterbiev... waaaaah... "

don't pretend that never happened, and don't pretend you never saw that dumb shlt... crybaby losers posted that nonsense everywhere

they were clueless comments, that were purely based on ignorance and hate... they disrespected BOTH fighters, mostly Bivol

what I said was 100% correct... so chill

those ignorant comments were not made by knowledgeable boxing fans, they were made by ignorant little crybabies who got it horribly WRONG

if you post dumb crybaby nonsense on the internet, expect to be ridiculed if you are proven wrong... and those muppets were proven wrong

      enjoy the Golovkin fight

Bivol 100% was cherry pick... Canelo doesn't aim for greatness - he takes calculated risks into fights he thinks he can win. Bivol didn't look spectacular is his last two fights (Richards and Salamov). Canelo saw areas he thought he could expose and "selected" Bivol as his next opponent thinking it would be straight forward fight without drama... Unfortunately for Canelo his was met with somebody who had better footwork, a better boxing IQ, a better defence and better stamina than him.

The result of that fight had nothing to do with weight - Canelo just got beaten up thoroughly by a better fighter than him!

only casual-fans and idiots said that

first, you said Bivol was a cherry-pick..... which is a ****** thing to say, because he won..... a lot of trainers said Bivol is a bad style matchup for Canelo

then, you said that Bivol is a better fighter than Canelo

how it is possible to cherry-pick an opponent who is better than you ?

          my comment still stands

only butthurt fanboys, and shlthead casuals... were saying that Bivol was a cherry-pick

now we know exactly who you muppets are

this is the point... you got it sooooo badly wrong, we KNOW that you are totally full-of shlt

you clowns who said that Bivol was a cherry-pick... should walk away, give yourself an uppercut, and never talk about boxing again

If you had a basic grasp of comprehension you'd understand that what I'm getting at is that Canelo "selected" Bivol on the basis that he thought he was a better fighter than him. Unfortunately for Canelo he got a rude awakening in the actual fight when he discovered this was not the case at all...

It was not a cherry pick in the traditional sense but a calculated gamble where Canelo and Reynoso both thought it was less of a risk than Beterbiev and they could make the jump up to 175 and defeat Bivol.

At the end of the day it says a lot When Canelo loses a unanimous decision in Vegas!

right, you were talking absolute nonsense..... just like the other casuals

referring to a champion who fights in a higher weight-class as a " cherry-pick "..... is ignorant, and disrespectful

              1) everyone who said that is clueless about this sport, which is why they were PROVEN wrong..... they DKSAB

              2) PLENTY of fighters / trainers / insiders..... insisted that Bivol will be a very difficult opponent, and his style will give Canelo problems

              3) why didn't any of the other super-middleweights " cherry-pick " Bivol ?

              my comment still stands.....

Canelo lost because he spends more time golfing and on yachts nowadays. Not because of size.
